I actually bought a house for 40k about 1k square foot all renovated and half an acre. It's in a rural areas of the country with no work though. I like it but the area is really going to determine whether this is worth it or not. Why is it so cheap? Is it because there's no work and just low population or is it a nigger filled shit hole with high crime? You have to find that out before hand.
