If you're looking for a wide variety of old gold, I can't mush help. But for some specific pieces, I find some vendors seem to be better than others for fair pricing on the limited variety of stuff they happen to have. One place is silvergoldbull. Limited in variety and what they actually have in stock, so it's worthwhile to visit frequently to see what they have that day, and just trust it'll be a very good if not the best price.
Pic related.
Another good source is boldpreciousmetals. A much wider variety in general, but they have similar to what silvergoldbull has. Caveat: you sort of have to know what you're looking for and use the search for that, because they don't organize the inventory very intuitively.
For a wide range of more interesting and uncommon stuff (i.e. expensive numismatic), I'm ignorant and no help.

Seconding what photoanon said. SGB and BPM tend to have the best prices. BPM is my "go to" for bullion in general. If I'm buying old gold, I'll check SGB as well to see if they have what I want in stock and for cheaper, and if they don't I'll just order from BPM.

It's very nice, low premium. Beware: it and the Hungarian Korona next to it are restrikes - they used the same dye as made the 1915 coin, and pressed them in the '70s. I gather the same goes for 1935 Swiss miss coins.
One other caveat: the Austrian Babenberger and the Brit sovereigns have relatively high premiums.

Meanwhile, today the comex vaults have been emptied another 1.2Moz of physical silver.
This is now at least a bi-weekly occurence to see the vaults emptied by over a million ounces.
The average on the past 2 weeks have been 770,000oz drained from registered every single day.

At this rate, the comex will be emptied in exactly 2 months.
Shit is accelerating at an insane pace. Back in July, the expected comex emptying was supposed to occur in August 2023, for reference.

For gold, it's the exact same situation, the withdrawings are insane (2% of registered today alone), but since it started later than for silver, the emptying is lagging a bit behind. But the trend is clear : WAGMI beyond our wildest dreams.

For me, I will someday sell these. Given the credo here "Never forgive, never forget" it's very possible some autist will track serial #s when I go to sell, and I could get doxxed. Either the autist himself might have personal issues, or he might post the info for the lulls and someone else with issues would pick up on that. Remember: 4chan attracts all types, mostly weirdos. It can be fun and useful, but you don't want any of it on you.
As for generic bars, meh. I don't care. I don't believe anyone here would would buy something online based on serial # they recognize from here.

Just American things. The trick is to ditch your soiled underwear as soon as possible; toss it, you're never going to wear it again. How you clean yourself up afterwards is up to you. If you've learned your lesson you'd avoid foods with Olestra like the plague, and processed food in general. Otherwise, baby wipes are your friend, as is a spare change of clothes in a sealed bag on your car.

There are signs pointing to next 90 days being one hell of a financial shitshow, the hard part will be judging when to place an online order and not see it be outright cancelled as mints/dealers struggle to play both sides of the field (failing LBMA/COMEX vs possible eastern contenders). It will get messy to the point where LCS might be the only thing you can rely on. And oh boy will there be a spread between spot and actual.

Small orders should probably be OK until the very end when spot is so low that no one in their right mind will dare sell an ounce. The 1000 oz bars will be long gone by then though and this should be a big flashing indicator. This is gonna get pretty fucky IMHO.

Anyway to your question, averaging in with small schlops versus chancing a big Slurp is probably the way to go.

So the US, Samoa, China, Germany, Austria, S Africa etc. will NOT have the queen (soon king) on their coins.

Try the world brain for details.

It's the biggest box of any annual proof set they ever put out and a lot of people don't know about the US territory quarters since they were in between the state quarters and the ATB quarters. HolocoinAnon: I'm having issues getting a good gold reflection without overexposing everything else. Will work on this later - we went farm shopping and for the next couple days we're canning and pickling, so I won't have a lot of time to spend on this. Here's my best for now.

Either early 2023, mid 2023 or early 2024.

Might be worth it to pick up a couple of Elisabeth coins like the 2022 Britannia since the design is new and hasn't been minted on that many coins.

I have a gold Maple and 25 silver Brits and Maples, probably gonna have quickly buy 1 gold Britannia and 75 more silver Britannias and silver Leaves.

This puts a big wrench in my stacking planes since I wanted to go all-out on getting silver Krugerrands.

>Your GSR will trend towards gold anyway as your stack size grows.
Not really. I'm currently at 1500:1, and my next purchase will still be silver.

I'm fed up at how pro-gold this general became over time. Back when we created it, it was 100% about silver, and now we get all those gold shills shadow-fudding silver and it piss me off.
I understand that it's much more depressing to look at silver prices' action as the manipulation is insane, but that's also why we shouldn't let ourselves distracted by this kind of jewish tricks.

The Achilles' heel is silver, not gold. Globohomo already control most of gold and the current price prevent us to have any significant impact over the supply left. Gold bullion worldwide is currently valuated at what? 11 trillions USD? Silver is what? Around 30 billions? Choice is a no brainer here.

90% of posts in these threads have been about silver for the past two years. A little gold posting isn't hurting anyone, relax.

soon, we are ballparking two weeks before PO starts. we already have the design done but during preorder there will be a window to make a few changes if we need too. we are working with the mint to see what they can do for gilding as well.

Almost 4 years actually. And if it was so focused over silver it's for a good reason. But as this general became nothing more than a boomer den of cute stack posting over time, it forgot it's goal and initial purpose.
I often feel like i'm the only one left talking about the macro environment, the LBMA/comex/SGEI/CME Group data updates, the incoming regulations, etc...
And i'm not motivated enough to continue to do it, but things are changing FAST. Plenty of laws are changing on a local level (like the IRS accepting gold and silver as tax payments in several states since 2021), plenty of stuff the banksters are doing behind the curtains to withdraw their stack, even one of the biggest banker who whistleblowed about how the BIS sent secret memos to all the big banks to tell them to dump gold's price this year.

Where are the wild speculations? Where is the digging?
This general became gay af. It's sad to say but even plebbit is doing a better job (even tho it's only thank to 2 posters).

I hate to be the one to break it, but that doesn't really matter to the average stacker. We are here to stack metals and plan for the eventual collapse of the banking system. I don't really need to keep my eye on knowing exactly when or why that will happen, and to be honest, most people just don't care. Stack posting is fun and bides the time while we wait for the Federal Reserve to fuck up beyond the point of redemption. Don't get so upset, enjoy the cute pictures and keep stacking.

Not really anymore. That was initially the idea, but silver is quite likely one of the most manipulated resources on earth. The price is basically set by the banks at this point. Hang on to PM's to protect you against the coming banking system collapse, but holding PM's to "save money" doesn't make as much sense as it used to.
