Looking into going big on CDTX, what ya think?

Long story short:
>drug is antifungal medicine for an invasive yeast infection. If I remember right this is the biggest worry for post surgery infections. High mortality rate and one of the biggest reasons for increased hospital bills.
>the above implies there’s for sure a demand
>drug passed stage 3 clinical trials with good results compared to the active control. 10% higher prevention of infection and around 10% lower mortality rates when treating already infected people.
>Shifted off to FDA on the fast track process, expecting review results around November (need to double check on this, but for sure next 5 months). Also applied for review with EMA
>Multiple companies signed deals for manufacturing rights.
>Also a few other drugs that either passed or are in phase 2 trials

If people are interested I can link all the articles I found regarding my info, but it seems 25000 people get infected a year and averaging the cost of itts competitors/active control it’s 5500 a unit/widget. 137 mil a year in revenue just in the US.

And it’s pretty fucking, cheap, just want to see what I’m missing here in my analysis. Some of the technical signs are good too, like RSI or the short term moving average crossing above the long term moving average. Lots of volume, 300% more than the average I think.

Frens, I'm worried.

I have been seeing more and more people talking about how we can go from a recession to a depression this year and next year lately since the Ukraine invasion.

Like economists to real estate agents and even finance youtubers have been dropping hints that we will be repeating the 1930's after midterm elections. What the fuck do I do to prepare for that shit? I survived the 2008 crash, but a depression looks waaay worse than a recession.

I thought things would get better after the pandemic is over, the hell happened?

Yes. Just like ford building all those new battery producing factories in KY. The state basically gave them a shat load of tax breaks and also uh the land is cheap as hell compared to other parts of U.S. Which now thanks to Ford the surrounding land value has shot up into the stratosphere. (See Georgetown KY before and after Toyota moved in). Makes you wish you owned a nice piece of land that some big company wanted don't it? The 33% drop in one day argument is unrealistic, the real gotcha is that Proshares can close down the fund and liquidate your shares at any time. And they'd be motivated to do so if we ever enter an extended bear market because the outflow from people fleeing reduces the Assets Under Management and makes it less profitable to run the ETF or even unprofitable. In that scenario you would have to scramble to throw your leftovers into a similar ETF and hope that a strong bull run happens and gives you your money back.

yes, which is I trade stocks and not crypto. there's a much more interesting and direct cause-and-effect relationship on a stock's price over time with easier to spot catalysts to support a move up or down. analyzing the public's perception of a company is most of the enjoyment I get in stocks, which is pure psychology.

very few of them compare to bitcoin's purely speculative nature and lack of fundamentals other than ultra shit-cos with no product like NKLA or fraudulent biotech stocks, which are also guilty pleasures of mine. BTC has no catalysts to support a reason why it should go up or down other than Elon tweeting or an adjacent cryptocurrency getting rugged. For the latecoming FOMOing morons it was. Supply chain armageddeon caused first shortages than massive over orders ("I might not get X amount of what I need, so I will order 10X and hope to get 2X"). This expanded capacity where it could and booked out orders into years. But exponential growth does not exist in the real world and as soon as the vendors got what they needed the orders began to slow down massively. Now normally with a bullwhip effect, this would lead to a new cycle (oversupply means shut down production lines until it meets supply, etc.) like any commodity but at the very peak the CHIPS act was passed. So there will be no need to be efficient and the space will get crowded and margins will worsen, etc.

Many auto-makers are still short on chips and with this gay ass EV surge and how every car has more electronic parts than mechanical parts it's going to keep demand high in that sector and in the server sector. I don't know why the other anons are shilling prop firms so hard. You don't need to do that at all, you could make an account with TDA or IBKR. IBKR had an easier approval process, lower commissions, and works with Sierra Chart. I've also heard AMP Futures is good according to SOXL_shill. TDA does have free realtime data though granted you have at least 500 in your account.
You should definitely paper trade long enough to be consistently profitable and comfortable with technicals (highs, lows, traps, so on) before going live.
Once you get good you can move away from micro futures to normal size ones with $50 points for /ES and $20 for /NQ. Then doing multiple contracts. If you're consistent you could unironically make six figures a year, don't see why a prop firm is necessary at all besides "muh risk management".
Speaking of risk don't go past 10x leverage unless you really know what you're doing, as a noob you shouldn't use any and as an intermediate trader never go past 5x. The point is to build consistency before cranking up the heat.

>how every car has more electronic parts than mechanical parts it's going to keep demand high in that sector and in the server sector.
The chips are a much smaller part than the actual raw materials needed for the batteries. That will be much more a cost constraint on vehicles.
>Once rates drop back to zero though buy the shit out of them immediately because easy money is going to flow back into crypto.
Feels like there is a slowly building regulatory move finally against crypto starting with the stablecoins and exchanges. Crypto as a regulatory arbitrage might be a trade finally ending. I think there is also something to the push for proof of stake over proof of work protocols. And you don't need warehouses of GPUs for that.

Dune coons always have sand in their crack about something. However, they did get what they wanted re: Iran as far as I can tell. US got the message and torpedoed the deal.

It's hilarious how much Salman clearly hates the US, which is why he likes poking us in the eye with stuff like the yuan oil contracts. But I think he knows that if he tries an outright embargo we'll regime change his ass, and that we already have a shortlist of replacements chomping at the bit to take his place. He did do that whole cleanup operation of potential rivals a few years back, but there's no way in hell he could eliminate everyone scheming against him, there'd be like 5 people left in the country.

And he needs our weapons to keep genociding the Yemenis. They're trying to switch to Russian and Chinese stuff iirc, but not easy to switch weapon suppliers at the drop of a hat. Retraining is a big problem. SA will stay stable for a little while IMO.

Everything.

- China's military is still 10 years behind the US, but they are catching up fast.
- Geopolitically, they only have support from shithole African nations currently, not real nations like Germany, France, or even Saudi Arabia. Without more support from Europe & Middle East, they cannot challenge the current Western order. However, once people start to realize how unstable trading in USD is (Democrats just banning anyone they dislike from SWIFT), then things will move more in favor of a two-monetary policy world: USD & CNY, which only benefits China.
- Economically, China needs another 50 years for its middle class & upper class to catch up in purchasing power before it can fully decouple from the rest of the world (if needed). But by then, America will have collapsed, or at least be reduced to a barking dog.

>China, on the other hand, is built on plastic toy shit and consumer electronics, all of which people will easily toss aside in the event of major political turmoil.
You don't even remotely begin to have a clue how much literally all of (((modern))) life depends on those chink plastic shits. Virtually all manufacturing capacity outside china is completely gone. Life will cost 10x overnight if they stopped exporting. You think they only do little plastic toys for the kids? It's everything from packaging to cars to clothes to the equipment your ISP uses to get you your internet and your TV provider uses to get you your good goy programming, etc. You don't even begin to comprehend how important their stranglehold on specialized electronics is and how expensive and slow it would be to rebuild enough logistic alone, let alone manufacturing capacity, to bypass just the critical paths. We literally cannot feed ourselves, clothe ourselves or even maintain buildings or make new ones without chink shit. You don't even begin to comprehend how bad things really are.
And that's just the manufacturing. You haven't even considered how large a material exporter they are: plastic's one thing, they're also the primary source of steel everywhere.

Next piece on the board to move, at least related to oil, might be Venezuela. Lots of untapped potential, nobody to really veto it. US would just have to either nut up and oust Maduro, or else cut him a deal to lock in his regime if he plays by our rules (respect US capital, sell it first to us and in dollars).

If you see that happening, that's a big, big deal for the oil trade, i.e. oil done for another decade at least. EROI of Venezuelan oil is not great, iirc like 6-7, but US shale was like 2, and we were still able to subsidize the hell out of that to buy ourselves a whole decade of disinflation.

This ofc, assumes tptb don't want to let oil rip to 500$ to try to force their degrowth
"great reset" nonsense. Rhetoric aside, when push comes to shove, they always blink and go grabbing for the oil. Doubt it's different this time.

It is shitty sour crude which I believe is part of the low EROI because of the refining hassle. However, they have enormous reserves and hence potential output.

I'm saying if they opened up to US oil companies and capital, we could increase that export dramatically (like 10x no problem), and basically trap oil at around 100$ for another decade.

However we'd have to lay down the fucking law with Maduro about how much he's allow to skim off the top, and probably put some military bases in there to keep him honest.

The US re-orienting to SA in general makes sense so I expect to see signs of it soon enough.
