He's raising rates slowly but consistently, high enough that it triggers a selloff but not too much

When every retard wants to gamble on calls, you have to buy the underlying stock to cover them. With puts you don't want a landslide either. Most stock trading done by Wallstreet today is just about hedging their option positions.

Bulls always think he's about to pivot and save their stocks with cheap liquidity so they never actually sell off. Buy the dip has created a new aristocracy of retail GMEtards.

He crushed the markets because of BBBY. I don't even trade that turd, but it's obvious the GME shit rattled these people to the core and they pretty much went on the attack against the market when all of their wealthy buddies were getting fucked by that thing's climb. Same shit was happening with BBBY, so rather than have some hedge funds take the hit, they suicide bombed the whole market to drop prices and provide an exit opportunity for the shorts on it. It's so pathetically transparent. Any time a meme stock starts to get some air they nuke the market. I'm not a GME, AMC, or BBBY cheerleader, I'm just against the current absurd manipulative faggotry in the market.

The stock market has basically had its fundamentals destroyed by letting every retard with a cell phone gamble on Faggy Ds in the hopes of hitting it big.

The stock market had its fundamentals destroyed when ETFs became a thing. Couple that with massive money supply increases since 2008 (the original collapse that was just postponed with printing) Look at the chart since 2008.

there is a reason bucketeering was banned. it should be banned again.

This is true also. Also once traders pull out uts hard tobget the major crash without something wiping out major institutions, or plenough economic pressure to make people liquidate their retirement account. No matter what, funds will always be buying as long as workers are still contributing. There's trader capitulation, and then there's active investor capitulation, and then there's retirement capitulation. But market makers, hedgies and the PPP have no incentive to drive stocks down anymore than is necessary to keep their books balanced. Real pain has to hit main Street and cause money to pour out of the system all together for that to happen. People buying inverse etfs isn't going to do that. Until we reach that point we can only slow bleed, but when it does happen we see the fifty percent crash. Bad news about what will happen doesn't do that, only when the news becomes reality.

If main street pulls out, which partially happened during the pandemic with the tax free retirement plan pull outs they authorized, the institutions just buy it back up with more leverage and send it higher just as fast. Main street is fucked right now as far as overall stock exposure, they barely have any. The way this thing goes up in flames is only if institutions get caught with their pants down, in which case the fed steps in to catch it.

Circuit breakers?? What are you a retard? None yet, maybe later. Once tool the fed has at it's disposal to influence the markets is jawboning, or talking good when the economy needs stimulation, or bad when it needs to contract. Debatable how effective this tool is, however it is commonly used still as the influence monetary policy has on the economy is far less effective than fiscal, and takes longer to fully impact the economy

why should "circuit breakers" exist at all?
