If you a burger, just do 1256 contracts (eg futures, Index options, options on commodity etfs).

1256 contracts are marked to market and have a 28% tax rate (no matter how long you had those positions for)

if you wanna make money you'll make so little amounts of trades you wont need to worry about it and you'll be holding shit for years.

If you wanna trade you'll be gambling so much that the fees will ass fuck you enough that you won't make profit.

for me personally, I wouldn't be comfortable with a 5+ fig position using more than 3x leverage. Once you get to 10x or more leverage, you risk random overnight liquidation wicks.
