i respect tradesmen but it seems like a such a meme. the only people making good money are trade business owners and union tradesmen. and getting into a union is hard as hell because every "college is a meme" 18-32 year old male is trying to get in as well. and when you're in, the apprenticeship program has total control over your life. can't easily transfer your work/education credits to another program, program can get dragged out if there's a shortage of work, etc.
