That they've been faking it til they made it. Everything leading up to SmartCon hints at there being more fluff than substance. The mixing in well known companies into their speaker list, despite it being subsidiaries for companies like SAP and Samsung, the lack of any product launches in 2022, the absolute radio silence from Steve Ellis, Ari and DIEM hires the entire year

They either figured out CCIP and it launches at SC22 or they sneak out the exit while ETH2 takes all the spotlight. The timing is interesting, as well as the rumor that Eric takes over as CEO. Either way, that January 1st video will live in infamy for the Hamburglar

This is why I say this one is it. They lost a lot of credibility with the first two SC but they were virtual and were given leeway because of the pandemic and a delay to ISO20022. Now, with charging over $1000 for tickets, the Big Mac cringe outreach, and the lack of any updates since Sergey's January 1st video, having a big event like this end in nothing will destroy their remaining credibility.

Tweeting daily about Binance shitcoin casino integrations has already eroded their image enough, but not having any institutions jump in makes it even worse.

What's this low level fud?

The switch to ETH2 with the merge is extremely complex and risky.
It doesn't make sense to increase your risk on two different systems when you can wait a few month to launch on the second system and not have to deal with the first and the risk of the transition.

The announcement was made in January because the plan was to release the features in May after the merge.
Unfortunately the delay of this merge caused the delay of the Chainlink feature releases.

Additionally some of the staking income comes from ETH2 changing its model to move some of their MEV to validators which will indirectly flow to Chainlink.
Other changes include a partner growth program, and being funded as a public good by the ETH infrastructure and getting special public good priority and cheaper ETH lanes for reduced fees.
The other part is the reliance of the L2 chains on the merged ETH version to reduce the risk associated with MEV.

And don't forget that Nexo is insolvent after shorting the bottom a second time.

Honestly getting pretty scared of this being true. People will lose their mind and call me a fudder, but I don't give a shit. Reality is narratives drive EVERYTHING in crypto in terms of big price action. The most recent narrative Chainlink was able to capitalize on was DeFi. But that's been over for a very long time now. So what's next? Some might say CCIP, but I dunno, my gut tells me that even if they end up releasing CCIP the market just won't give a fuck, and instead they'll be pumping the projects that utilize CCIP. Also I hate to be a TA fag but even I think Chainlink looks absolutely abysmal on any chart you pull up. I don't want to believe it and I would love to be wrong, but holy fucking shit it's been 2 years of just constant pain. When do we realize we're fucked? After 3 years? 4 years? 5 years? It's starting to get absolutely insane how much we're putting up with.

All these Linklets with 10k stacks singing about 1k eoy are starting to piss me off with their propaganda. It was a joke and they are actually believing it and causing FOMO in newfags preventing the dump.Link is only going to $50 max. Right now I might make 5MM before tax on that, but tax will take a big chunk out of that then inflation will fucking ruin me over the next decade.

Even if I chuck the 700K into a dividend stock that pays out well and I get 70k a year of it, it's not enough to beat inflation unless I basically live in poverty as a neet and keep my wagecuck job in the meantime so I don't have to sell any retirement Link. In 10 years that 70k a year will feel like 20k a year. You need a minimum of 10MM, but more likely 15MM to make it. The upper predictions for Link were about $80 but that was made during the bullrun of last year, and it assumed that the overall crypto market cap would still be expanding and BTC would go on to 1MM a Bitcoin and that we would be in a full blown crypto FOMO hype bubble when mainnet came out and we got our price singularity. All of that isn't going to happen.

If only you anons knew. I’m nice so I’ll keep it short. Eth 2.0 will fail which will cause massive capitulation in the market sending all alts for a race to the bottom. The Chainlink team knows this and that is why they haven’t released staking or CCIP. Yes they completed it, back tested it and made sure it runs smoothly. It does, they are a competent team. However, it all comes down to Eth. If it shits the bed (which it will) then there really is no reason to release anything. They’re playing their cards right and are sitting back to wait for the dumpster fire.

If the CCIP we get this year is a full scale implementation of what it promises then it will be the biggest crypto happening in half a decade. It will eventually be that anyway.
The question simply comes down to whether the CCIP launch we get this year is the "full" product, or a very limited 0.1 version of the eventual goal. If it's the former then we literally make it this year.

Explain to me what I don't get? The fact that we've got about 3 months left of the year and there's been no major release from Chainlink this year? The fact that we still don't have v0.1 staking, even though it's such a gimped version that it's kind of insulting that they're even calling it staking? Why does Chainlink keep announcing new services and features that never get past a whitepaper? Remember the military grade cope about how OCR was going to be a huge moment for saving gas and relieving the sell pressure from node operators? OCR came and literally nothing happened, in fact things have only gotten worse since OCR came out and that's one of the last things they've actually delivered. Let's ignore staking and CCIP and even think about where Chainlink is actually headed. It's been nothing but "integrations" with bullshit copy-pasted scams for years now. At what point does Chainlink start to transition to something beyond this? Sergey claims that he speaks with banks and institutions but where's the actual results?
>>51006500
They would never, ever release CCIP with a big bang like that. If we thought the staking release was slow and conservative, then CCIP will be even worse with how they're going to manage the risk of that release. That one I at least understand why they would take care with releasing CCIP. But as time goes on I'm really getting fed up of the wait for staking. It just doesn't make sense, the "they're just waiting for ETH2" shit just seems like complete cope as usual, too.

CCIP is possible. It is a protocol. Guess what. Chainlink nodes need to be bidirectional. They need to be both validator on a chain and a DON(Oracle). Guess what, if you’re a validator on 1 chain, and a validator on another chain. Then you can send communication from one chain like a read or append to another chain. But before it reaches that next chain, the validity of the communicated info needs to reach consensus. You get where I’m going with this? This also allows for Chainlink to adhere to the consensus of the protocol. If ETH was POW then some Chainlink nodes would also be POW. And that’s an extremely unnecessary amount of energy being wasted. But POS ETH means that there is 1:1 functionality in both directions since we already know Chainlink is meant to be POS.

It’s probably one of the biggest things that pisses me off about Chainlink. From day 1 we knew Celsius was a disaster waiting to happen. The red flags were spotted almost straight away. We know they lurk here, there’s absolutely no way they didn’t have any visibility on Celsius’ “Head of Institutional Investing” or whatever the fuck it was. Despite that, not only did Chainlink work with Celsius, they gave them a huge platform and promoted Celsius numerous times, even at their previous SmartCon. I’ll never forget the fucking moronic “CeDeFi” term that Celsius coined. Just the most retarded shit and Chainlink STILL insisted on working with these scammers. Just how much money was wasted on that bullshit? Mistakes will always happen in business, but I struggle to understand how they made THIS mistake. We’re just a bunch of losers who research this shit for free and knew something stunk about them pretty much straight away, Chainlink has paid employees who either didn’t do their own research or for whatever insane reason just didn’t care about the risk of working with Celsius. The worst part is because some people put their trust in Chainlink they saw their work with Celsius as some kind of endorsement that Celsius is a good business to use and now we’ve got people who have lost everything. Now, to be clear you shouldn’t ever trust Chainlink or anyone in that type of thing and should always do your own research, but it’s still just fucking sloppy on Chainlink’s part they did that.

The WEF is an international lobbying firm comprised of 1,000 or so member companies. It is based in Switzerland and staffed by predominantly Europeans. It is a vehicle to promote the interests of multi-national megacorps. To become a member, a company must turn over a minimum of $5 BILLION USD every year. In total, their member companies control approximately $5 trillion in assets.

The cumulative liquid ad spend for the member companies goes into the hundreds of millions to billions range. What this means is that if they want to astroturf a trend, person, or idea: they absolutely have the means to do it.

Being an unelected, totally unaccountable global group, they're able to skirt laws of their host countries. They've been referred to as a terrorist organization by experts and citizens of countries all across the globe.

It's time we stand united against terrorist organizations like the WEF that wish to subvert and destabilize our countries. Everyone can play their role by voicing their concerns to their elected representatives, boycotting, sanctioning and divesting from member companies, and applying social and electoral pressure to all their "young leaders" and affiliates.

The "far-right" and "white supremacist domestic terrorists" hoaxes are inventions and products of the WEF. COVID and all the responses to it were a WEF creation. The explosion of in-your-face homosexuality and degeneracy is a WEF creation. The effective poisoning of our food, water, and minds is a product of the WEF.

For extra seethe, sign this petition and have your "automated internet friends" sign it too and let's remind them who is in charge.

No one is complaining about the deadline you goddamn retards. We’re calling out the piss poor price action and how none of the “releases” actually did anything to the price.
>y-you’re fudding

Dude this isnt a safe play at all. WTF are you smoking????? They have NOTHING… ETH was the “safe” crypto play last year and it 10x’d, while link crabbed and dumped. This is only a “long term play” bc thats all the cope you have left. Even in the long term, Doge is a better play than this. I will for sure be able to buy a car w doge, whereas half the link team may be in prison.

Bought link in 2017 because of Sibos. And here we are, hoping the next defi vaporware will pump link. I already have written Link off mentally, not planning on selling but I'm looking to make money in other areas in life. It's just pathetic at this point, the big mac announcement was the final straw. The linkmarine community is fucking cringe aswell, and biz is left with deluded bagholders. It gave me a greater peace of mind desu, to stop hoping about LInk finally doing something. I'll see what happens with my bags in the future.
