The part about your friends not wanting “a single weirdo to be a part of their future family”, that’s not true. First of all there’s no reason couples wouldn’t want to hang out with you as opposed to other couples or parents or whatever. If they don’t hang out with you, it’s probably just because they figure YOU don’t want to since you’ll think they’re boring now or whatever...i say this from experience as a dad. More important than that though, one good side effect (for you) of modern shitty society is that not a ton of people really stay together with their SO forever. Before you know it one of your friends will get cheated on or divorced or whatever and want nothing more than to go out, tear shit up and enjoy the single life with you again.
