Are there reverse mortgages with fixed interest? How I understood it is that you basically get paid the value of your home monthly until it belongs to the bank and some people do this to retire. So if someone were to reverse mortgage their home at the top would they be making bank monthly from that sale? Can you pass down the contract and the remaining equity to someone else for when you die and don’t spend the whole thing?
