>Economic sentiment is so grim these days that stagnation almost feels like good news, said analysts, who added that with no turnaround in sight and uncertainty about energy supply this winter, the conditions were ripe for a recession.

>"As of today, it would already be a success if economic output in the second half of the year continued to stagnate," said Alexander Krueger of Hauck Aufhaeuser Lampe private bank.

>Fritzi Koehler-Geib from the state-owned KfW development bank said that "a recession is in the air" with the plunge in the Ifo business climate index, which hit a two-year low this month, and the Purchasing Managers' Index, which saw flash readings below the growth mark.

Checked. It's a suicide, but it's only the third time Germany is killing Europe after all. Just bad luck I guess.

>>50638982
Exactly. What you're seeing is what happens when politics stop having the best interest of their own people in mind and choose to serve another country's (or group) interests instead. The green party (another US made implant) is also to blame because they were the ones pushing for the end of the nuclear plants in Germany after Fukushima. If those plants were still active, all that Russian gas drama would be much less problematic. But noooo, let's build hundreds of windmills that don't work and also build new coal and lignite plants to compensate for the lack of electrical production.

>>50639444
The only honourable way to get out of that shit is to kill the EU by leaving it (good riddance) and restart the nuclear plants asap. But it won't happen until next summer, and that's best case scenario.

While everybody is working hard at their jobs, improving the situation little by little, the naysayers will heckle the progress all the way until the problems are fixed and then find a new thing to complain about that isn't perfect but still miles better than in almost every other country in the world. I'd rather be on the side that fixes things and contributes to the betterment of society, it's better for my mental health anyway. Form meaningful relationships to keep the harmony in society, work on yourself to become the person you always wanted to rather than the personality you settled on out of conveniece, provide help to those in need. We can all make it, you just need to leave your chair and go out into the world. WAGMI, anons.

>>50639898
I know a lot of people working in nuclear plants (I live near one) and the situation has been tense since a few years. The government was already warning about potential blackouts those 2 last winters. But most tranches (reactors) are operational, unless they're under maintenance of course. The main problem is that we have to export electricity to neighbouring countries (in particular Germany) thanks to EU regulations, and even sometimes buying it back at a more expensive price from them, I shit you not.

>>50639944
I thought that you were implying that we had electricity shortages, my bad. I don't know about uranium stocks and imports, but a shortage would be obviously dramatic.

No, it needs to be logical, Cartesian and not about ideology. I'm really sick of all that globalism bullshit. People who don't live in Germany don't know how mild our winters are. This isn't like in the Northern US/Canada where you guys get -50°C sometimes. Here we get, at worst, -5°C for a single day.

>The worst time to visit Germany is in the cold winter season from December to February. The night temperatures are well below freezing, and even the days are dark and occasionally below freezing. Extreme temperatures are rare, but the mercury column may drop below -20.6°C (-5.1°F) in some places. Cold air masses have an affinity to settle in the valleys of Bavaria, which makes the conditions challenging.

There is a difference between your faked average statistics and reality.

This is an average.
When you measure weather data what matters is not the average but the extremes and how it's measured.
The temperature goes down to -15 during the night, but thanks to a shielded weather station in the city center with its own micro climate you only get a reported -5 for a few hours and then average it up to a positive number because the temperature is higher during the day.

I have measured -18 a few years ago at the worst.

There's been a few outliers in some cities but most of the occured prior to 1990 lmao.

You will freeze to death and you will finally discover the difference between faked weather measurements and reality.
I know how this works after having lived before 1 km away from a "weather station"

That weather station was placed on the optimal spot in the middle of a park at an elevated height and the furthest away from car traffic to report the minimum amount of pollution which was supposed to be its most important function and used to deliver the data for that region.
It displayed perfect healthy air conditions while the private air pollution measurements 200 meters away were displaying conditions extremely dangerous for life.

Stop measuring the weather in the middle of cities.
If you stop living in the city center you will find out there is a big differences in temperature because of the micro climate caused by massive heating through densely populated areas.
Now that this heating will be greatly reduced that micro climate will also suffer.
