Automatically rejecting resumes for not having matching key words from the job posting is a real thing. If the job posting has shit like

>blah blah blah Microsoft Word, Excel, blah blah blah....
>blah blah blah Python Coding, blah blah blah
>blah blah blah, Excellent communication, ability to lead team, blah blah blah

If your resume has literally 0% of these words in it, it will be rejected. Some have a very high threshold like you need to have 50% of the key terms from the posting, where others have a lower threshold like 10% so you have to edit your resume a bit for each job posting or you will be FILTERED.

I non-ironically think this is maybe why I've been getting so many call back with my resume in the last few months. My name is a unisex one and my spelling is even the one that women usually have. In fairness I'm just going for entry level positions so it's not like they're trying to go for diversity hires as much, but even still I've gotten about 8 or 9 responses out of the 40ish applications I've put out despite having a NEET gap of just under a decade with no college degree.

Every time I apply for a job, I copy all the keywords from the posting into a text box on my resume and make it white font, in the sidebar. Totally works, and can’t be figured out when they print your resume ahead of the interview
I’ve also interviewed 10-15 people in the last 6 months. We always print out the resume to review beforehand
