My one true wish i want to do, even if its the last thing i ever do, is to own a farm. But like a full fucking farm, complete with a bunch of animals and stuff. totally agree, most people think that farm life is the best thing ever and once they get to live like that (if they ever get to that point) they regret it almost instantly
its just another way to understand and live life methinks, it isn't always "peaceful" like most people make it out to be

Do you actually know anything about keeping cattle for dairy? You don't just buy a cow and get free milk forever. You have to house it, feed it, keep it healthy, and they don't produce milk unless they're impregnated, so you have to do that. Then you have to separate it from the calf, and continually keep impregnating it. Do you know how to artificially inseminate a cow?

also i didn't answer your question, yeah i do have a small garden in my backyard, i even have a couple of chickens, fresh eggs just taste better
i build it almost all by myself (gf helped), i had to do a lot of work for crops to start growing but now twice a year i have tomatoes, potatoes and aromatics, it's not a lot but, it make me happy
I think im at my best when working with nature, it just makes me feel peaceful, that's the life i want for me and my (future) kids

Running a dairy farm, like all farming, is a huge amount of work. In an industrial dairy farm the calf is usually separated from its mother after a few days and given formula, so it doesn't drink too much milk, which is the product to be harvested. In a small scale farm they may be left together longer though. Industrial dairy farms impregnate them again almost immediately so there are no gaps in production. This is not healthy for the cow however, and they become infertile after around 6 years. They are marked for culling as soon as their milk runs dry from their last pregnancy, and then then slaughtered. Cows can live over 20 years btw.

Sadly there is a lot of cruelty in our industrial farming practices.

You know, I have actually artificially inseminated cows myself. It's not very pleasant. But checking if they're pregnant is worse, because you have to put your arm up the cow's rectum to feel for a solid mass in their uterus. And no I've never fucked a cow, it's not very sexy to be around a cow's backside. There is a lot more shit and flies constantly buzzing around than you probably imagine.

>are cows constantly impregnated to make them produce milk
Yes. The calfs are used for veal and more milking stock, and as soon as she's running low on milk, you juice her pussy with more bull cum. This is done with artificial insemination and on a farm with many hundreds of heads of cattle, it's a full time job to milk the bulls and plug the cows with just enough cum to knock her up again.

Looking forward to the Phase 2 of the NEVM where Syscon will introduce zkrollups to the platform. And this will not only bring NEVM speeds up to over 200,000 transactions per second; far beyond what is theorized for ethereum 2.0, but will also allow projects built atop the syscon platform to institute zero fees within their applications.
