during the coof, I got permanent remote work and moved to a state with no income tax and low cost of living. If they fire me (they contractually can not revoke my wfh), I will only take a remote job, if no takers, I will consult and freelance. The puts I bought last year are in the money and sluts are free.

I work for a major pharma company. At the start of the year it weak salary increases that were bothering people, but they said the outlook was just one weak year on the market and all green from there. Now, there's a hiring freeze on most sectors outside of R&D and execs won't make any comment suggesting cost of living adjustments going forward. By EOY I'm expecting worse.
