In about a year, you should have 250k in crypto assuming market is sideways.
At that point, I would switch to a different type of investment.
Let's say your crypto went from 250k to 500k.
Take out the 250k you invested and put it into stocks. If that doesn't happen in the next year, just switch to buying stocks so you can diversify your portfolio better.
Unless you plan to continue living for 10k/year, 250k isn't really enough to call it a day.
But with a paid off home, it is possible to live off that and be happy.
Personally, I would spread my money into as many different markets as possible.
Crypto is basically a tech stock, so if you also buy into some other markets, it should be fine.
Once you have enough money coming in through dividends or coin interest to cover your lifestyle, I would say you made it.
