I've never had to put effort into getting/working a cushy job. I very easily befriended people early on during /uni/ and had lonely expat classmates who 'helped' me through it.
I easily slid from position to position at almost every major company's IT department as I made friends with key figures who then gifted me certain privileges and more lucrative ties.
I barely do any work these days and haven't entered office since late 2019.

To put more emphasis on the overall message: suppress the bitch-made parts of yourself, give into your avarice and sweettalk other people like a devil, make them feel good about handing you resources and privileges.
