Hahaha, what you just showed proves that ICP's consensus is decentralized and slowly growing in nodes-machines.

The cryptographic protocol (chainkey) needs all nodes to validate / reach consensus to execute smart contracts. Look up, how chainkey cryptography works, how it uses 1 single public key and all nodes (datacenters) are needed to reach consensus. Faulty nodes get replaced and updated, all the data is distributed and encrypted.

You do realize that those data centers don't own the nodes. The data centers just lease the space and maintain the infrastructure. I've toured a Flexential data center. They lease sections of the data center to large companies and these companies can have them build it out however they want. I'm not sure what the idiot in the picture is trying to say? Did he think Dfinity was making people build whole data centers just for ICP. You're an idiot with no knowledge of how data centers work if that's what you thought.
