You are right that these are all problems caused by existing governments however these processes cannot just be reversed.
They must be dealt with on a global scale without the limitations of national governments, it's important some democratic structure is still in place but it cannot be allowed to get in the way of progress.

One additional WEF point is the switch to a closed loop subscription based economy for most products like clothes, electronics and furniture, as the company retains ownership of the products instead of them being thrown out by the consumer there's far less incentive to overproduction and rather to make things as durable and recyclable as possible.

It's too late to switch to clean gas cars even if we could start today as the delay in producing EVs should show. The EVs that do get made need to go to rideshare companies to get gas cars off the road, and urban zones need to be designed around walkable cores to minimize traffic as even EVs are quite costly.

Even with the levels of immigration today Europe's population is declining, it'd be catastrophic without mass immigration, all the costs it brings to society are still less than that level of economic collapse.
