True story. Today I bought a desk from marketplace for 20 bucks. I show up to a nice looking house, guy selling it to me is moving his family out of country. I ask where to, he says "back home" which is 3rd world economy.
I dont even act surrpised because i'm hearing that a lot more these days. He says he makes 'good money but i dont know how people do it'.
He told me his landlord was okay with him breaking lease because he was going to raise rent etc...

I see new builds in my area (Town-Houses) In Australia, and they're all asking for $2500-3000/month.

How the fuck is that even viable? They just stay vacant. No one is going to pay that much for fucking rent, its obscene.

I assume they're asking for that much because they built in this recent bubble and need to earn at least that much per month for it to be profitable....
