Overall it was a really fun experience but you definitely have a point about not being able to legally live anywhere It could be difficult in that sense. I lived in an RV for 2 years with a compost toilet. There was no way to keep the insects out. Eventually I had to rip the thing out. I replaced it with an electric incinerator toilet, but that had its own problems. The best choice is to have a little chemical toilet for emergencies and piss in plastic bottles. You can stop at mid-sized hotels to shit in their lobby restrooms if you don't look like a bum. Shower isn't needed, either. Just keep your hair short and sponge bathe. Once a week get a motel room to take a proper shower.
