Just look at a long term chart of any successful crypto, theres a specific cycle of parabolic rise and then long correction, this keeps happening over and over, and the successful coins have higher prices each cycle.
Happens with stocks and everything.

As for diversifying, during the bullrun in diversified some link but most of the alts fucked themselves more so it would of been better to just stay in link.
In the future I will only diversify into btc, cash and gold, only small amounts into new alts to gamble, because by this point theres almost 20k different alts and its getting saturated, new shitcoins are made daily and its hard to keep track of them all so its basically just gambling to me rather then investing
