25k of silver will buy you the same amount of goods in the future, just as it did in the past.

I guess if you're a collapse fag then this thought is foreign to you but there's a lot of factors at play here and I think commodities could crab if the fed remains hawkish since they're already highly valued.

The number of midwits that don't understand how PMs work is worrying.
>Muh PM's are overvalued
Tell me you don't know about GSR without saying you don't know about GSR.
Gold is never over valued, nor is it ever undervalued. Because the amount of fiat it takes to buy it is not reflective of the value of gold, it's reflective of the value of your fiat.
As for silver, if you knew what the GSR is you would know ATM silver is incredibly undervalued and now is the time to stack. Once the GSR swings back the other way you turn your silver into gold, then when it swings back again you turn it back into silver increasing your stack.
Anyone not doing this doesn't understand how money actually works.
There is a reason we refer to things as the gold standard.

You buy silver, it will always remain static. You fags always say silver is real money, You cannot get rich from holding money itself retard it produces nothing. Silver was used as money because the value is stable for thousands of years.

Thats why the rich pro investors dont touch silver, they hedge a small allocation like 2-5% in gold during unstable times.
If silver was so good all of the top tier hedge funds would be going all in, since they have the best analysts in the world.

In reality The biggest buyers of silver are schizo preppers who think that the world is about to end, and that they'll be so rich in the new nucleor wasteland and everyone will want to trade their goods for le shiny silver.

Gold and silver have a lot of desirable traits not possessed by other metals for one. While also being both available enough to be a medium of exchange and hard to get enough to maintain rarity.
And two it stopped being arbitrary somewhere around the first thousand years people used it. After that it became the standard.
As for crystals we can make more of those at any time. We still can't make more gold or silver.

You know why, he's probably on JPM payroll to fud the inevitable.
If anything, angry little cum encrusted shills of his kinds are literally our best advertisers. 80% of /pol/ started stacking over the past year only because they noticed how aggressively kikes were shilling against silver on a daily basis.

So much efforts wasted to end up having the opposite effect, the irony is delicious, just like their tears.

I've got pretty big positions in AG, EXK, and SILJ in my IRA. Nationalization won't happen until the USD collapses and maybe it won't. Silver is pretty liquid though? Having it in your hand eliminates all counterparty risk too. It just requires you to talk to and meet with another person if you want the best price. Make a craigslist ad and you can definitely get over spot for your silver right now.

Easily? No. Despite it being a byproduct, it cost money to transport and process that silver. Last time I check those cost have elevated with oil price inflation and the demand and supply for silver are unchanged. Saying it will go down 50% in value easily when the US Mint can't get it for the futures manipulated spot price it is now is the most retarded thing in this thread. Silver isn't a risk asset pal. Because "money" has a strict definition.
The USD is currency.
Physical gold and silver are money.
Money = currency + store of value.
The USD does not store value because it lost at least 95% of its purchasing power in 100 years, while precious metals still have the same value as they did 100 years ago.
This guy explains it.

>>49802986
>Study history it repeats itself
During the Chinese civil war from 1946-1949 there was extreme hyperinflation, so a lot of people were desperate for PMs, and there are many stories of people buying buildings with gold bars instead of cash. In 1948 the nationalist government tried to stop the inflation by creating a new PM backed currency, and made it illegal to own forex notes or PMs. Everyone was required to exchange them for notes of the new currency, and if they didn't they could be arrested. This didn't stop the hyperinflation, but it did make all stackers (and most businesses) lose their entire savings in exchange for worthless paper. Anyone who didn't go along with this was a criminal. And then the communists took over the country and anyone with money or property lost it all anyway.

You can't have a containment thread if the containment thread is always deleted.
Also, we know they'll never officially allow sound money, it's up to every person to learn about it and to ask for it as payment or to convert his income as soon as possible into physical precious metals, legally.
Those who do this will have hard physical money, those who refuse it will eat the bugs according to their social score.

Yeah I'm considering SILJ but I heard that it's heavy in Mexican mines. I think the way to mitigate risk with miners is to diversify the countries.

I think nationalization just makes sense tho. I only see silver mooning if USD collapses. Then the govt will take control of mines to serve as their new central banks.
