Shill me this project. Does it do anything that something like Fantom or Avax can't do?

Just popping in to let anons that see this thread know that I'm still fully in on it, and have my entire stack basically locked staking on TRANQ. Comfy, and will retire next year. Not going to be making or joining threads though because in a bear market it's always waves after waves of fud for every project that's tiring to wade through.

Anyone that has questions about it, literally just DYOR. They're always posting updates and medium articles on Twitter and what they're currently doing and what's coming up next. They're extremely active and focused, and they also revealed they have 30M in hard cash to weather the bear market. Godspeed fellow Harmonauts, hope to be excitedly celebrating with all of you in the future.

How did they solve the problem with shard 1 being over-utilized and other shards under-utilized?

I think they're working on cross-shard transactions and smart contracts on shards other than 0.

It had good promise but was ruined by a dev team with no direction and flipp-flopped on their goals.
>No cross shard communication
>Wasted $300million in funding retarded shit to bootstrap an eco system, nothing materialised.
>Pissed off their massive community by never doing what they said they would or changing direction ever other month.
Near is basically harmony but without retarded devs and a bunch more cash behind it. Harmony should of been the defacto L1 that acted as a L2 for ETH but they blew it.

What >>49718408
said. Cross Shard transactions is the priority for the next update in Q3, and they're already committed to making one shard a "game" shard, specifically for GameFi, which they realized with their extremely low fees and fast network, is perfect to get a leg up on the competition there. They already got DFK, so if they can become known as the "gaming" blockchain, this'll be a great in for them to get better known.

They acknowledged all of this and are pivoting back to the tech and doing all of the stuff that investors complained they weren't doing. I looked into NEAR and it looks great, but they're not doing shit but NFTs and nobody knows about them. Harmony knows how to put themselves out there and attract devs and knows how to be visible with constant updates and professionalism. There's more to success than just having the best tech, you need to put effort into marketing.

Better to have tried something and failed to work out, than to just not do anything and hope "If you build it, they will come".

Literally look at their latest tweet just 30 minutes ago:

Think we'll see 10 mi ONEs for $2000 sometime this bear market? I'm willing to bite that bullet if Stephen is still strong in the project.

Near had 12 million users interact with their chain last month from that sweatcoin app. 50 million downloads on andriod alone. The amount of VC money moving into it as well makes it well worth. Didn't harmony lose DFK to Avax? I thought they were spinning up a subnet for the app? I really love one but they need a taskmaster to keep the nerds from wasting cash and doing stupid shit. I hope they are still about next market cycle.

iirc DFK moved there because it was easier to rug or something, which later they did.
