1. Russian can't win the war when their goals are not even defined. Capturing DPR and LPR is a pyrrhic victory considering the economic losses. Anything bigger than that is out of the question.
2. Russian victory would just mean that that the overall economic situation becomes less stable, so you should have longed on crypto and gold.

i suppose that you can begin accruing capital to invest in russian companies that will begin exploiting ukrainian resources (especially startups or restructured ones)
these areas are now valued at the absolute bottom due to war interrupting economic activity. once the war is over, they will gradually become productive again and reach a proper valuation

if you are the type who believes in a ukrainian victory (lol), unlike with a russian victory scenario i would advise you not to go in immediately
the reason is, ukraine will have different priorities, such as increasing military spending even further, repairing infrastructure, gibs to the population, dealing with the return and housing of refugees, etc
rather wait for ukraine to get into the EU, and be on the lookout for the foreign companies that will "invest" in ukraine. invest in them instead of ukrainian companies
(t. proud eu resident. my country's mineral resources are 100% controlled by foreign corps with ridiculous privileges and corporate welfare)
alternatively if you are an adventurer, try to buy cheap mineral rights yourself in ukraine. then be patient as the offers from western corps will inevitably start piling up

Short Europe. Not because Russia will win perse, but because sanctions will then not end any time soon. This will accelerate migration from Africa, which combined with the non competitiveness of European industry due to fossil fuel prices will kill them.

If Russia lost it would likely to lead to regime change in Russia, which could then go full globohomo ... that would be best for the economy, but it doesn't seem likely.
