There are two gaps:
$1640 - $1654
$1693 - $1701
They will get closed.

Btc has a gap at 3.5k

>> No.49559993

>>49559948
number goes down extremely. an unfilled gap means the price has basically skipped a certain price point. therefore it must go back down to that price point to fill it and "complete" the chart.

>> No.49560017

>>49559969
i know but that will never get filled. the jews will not give us $3.5k per btc ever again. too bad.

>> No.49560028

>>49559993
why must it? people dont want to sell at that price so those buyers who missed it simply missed the boat. no refunds. see ya. sorry.

In ETHs case that means it has to go up then?

>> No.49560140

well according to laymans law 9 out of 10 get filled. so not always but pretty close.
>>49560040
my bad i wasnt even aware that eth has dropped this hard lmao. so yea it has to go up to get filled but thats probably something for next bullrun

He said the gaps were above the current price

>> No.49560185

theyre called singles and they can remain unfilled for weeks, months even years
but yes, good job finding only true way to trade, which is volume and time profile

Gaps always get filled. When assets trade to quickly they can jump on price and leave gaps behind.
For example a stock jump from 100 to 150 dollars a share. There is now a 50 dollar gap from 100 to 150. Generally these gaps get filled.

Everyone repeat this retarded shit but no one gave an explanation why they think "it must be filled". So I guess you are all retarded parrots.

its how market works, listen here little brainlet ill explain
look at the area between the red lines, thats called singleprints and we had those since morning, means there was no fair auction (which is actually what the market is called) at that point and after we tried to break the balance it formed over the day (downwards wick), we got bought up to the unknown level where the singles are, there it was denied from entering the upper level and was prime entry for shorts
if you have questions ask away, its complicated and i might have not explained it perfectly, but it works, its literally reading the market and works for every asset with decent volume

>> No.49560446

>>49560291
It is because no one actively bought at these price ranges.
All trades in these price ranges were straight sells into the books, i.e. the buyers were market makers. People who have the patience to wait for the price to come to them.
These are not weak hands.
Therefore, at these price ranges, there will not be selling pressure of weak hand retailers (who do not place limit orders and make markets) desperately trying to get out and break even after having sweated for a few days, weeks of being down on their investment.
Swift moves down or up signal regions with low sell and buy pressure respectively due to this.

This is a good explanation:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1grhrsO-3xo
So it's just like fibonacci levels and resistances. There is nothing fundamental behind them. But because a lot of traders listen to these they become self fulfilling prophecies. It's crowd psychology.

It's a tale of weak hands v strong hands.
Bagholders at these levels are strong hands.

I'd keep an eye on ETH/BTC if I were you.
Seems like this is reversing.
We had 1.5 days of only lower highs, now there are a few 1 hour+ relief rallies happening and more and more of them.
May indicate a change in money flow toward a higher risk asset (ETH)
