the reality is that bitcoin is last generation technology. It was revolutionary in that it developed DLT, but crypto isn't about that anymore. Crypto is about functionality, and that functionality is smartcontracts. As amazing as bitcoin is, it doens't DO ANYTHING. I believe that the value of bitcoin will go up, and bitcoin will always have some sort of collectors value as the first crypto. But if you're looking to invest today you're fucking insane to be a maxi. The only sane maxi's are those who bought ten years ago.
