When I was unemployed I learned to day-trade out of necessity. I slowly got better and better over the months but didn't realize it.
I realized just 1 day into my new job that I was making far, far less at this job than I was by day-trading and so it was basically losing me money. The only reason I had the job at all was for financial stability, but I realized that the opportunity cost just wasn't worth it.

Basically I'm seriously quitting because I make much, much better money without the job. That was a poor financial decision.

People focus too much on the small stuff. Yeah, $5/day on coffee might seem stupid. Its ~$100/month if you're only counting week days. But a luxury car is $500/month. A luxury condo is $5000/m. $5/day on coffee is literally nothing. And that coffee actually provides you a lot of value in terms of enjoyment. Where the difference between a luxury car and an economy car is being what, slightly more comfortable for maybe 30min/day? A status symbol? You can save 100 times more money by reducing the big costs than worrying about $5/day on coffee.

it's like driving vs commuting to work in a large city with good public transit

there's larger variance for arrival time in a car, there are greater parking costs, and intrinsic variables like stress and likeness of being involved in an accident. There's also the value of time (would you rather relax or do work on a train or sit in front of a wheel)

While factors vary by location and situation people tend to not take many of these variables into account

If you have central air, get vent dampeners. Now you don't have to pay to heat/cool unused rooms anymore.

Got wife/kids/roommates etc.? Close the dampeners when they leave.

Thermostat placement is huge. Don't put your thermostat in a room with an exterior door. If it already is, move it. It's easy as fuck and isn't dangerous.

Speaking of thermostats, get a programmable one. Not a fucking $300 Apple iBlow or whatever the new trendy looking ones are that record you masturbating, just a cheap $25 7-day programmable one. Saves HEAPS.

Set your thermostat higher in the summer and use a $15 box fan. Looks niggery, saves bank.

Cold out? Set temp lower and use a $20 space heater. Diminishing returns after 2 space heaters though. Electric blankets are more efficient.

Your water heater has a heat setting on it. There is a sticker on the front that explains more. Turn the temp down a bit, then after 48 hours if you haven't run out of hot water then turn it down a bit more. Rinse repeat.

Use rags instead of paper towels. Wash with a tiny amt of bleach.

Fuck dishwashers. Get a $10 Rubbermaid drying rack. Fuck dish detergent, get a bottle of knock off blue shit. They clean oil spill critters with it, it's good enough for you. Works great on the lambo too.

Use a clothesline. Home Depot has retractable ones for $10. Keeps your shit from wrinkling too.

Grow your own food, especially spices.

Once a year, call all of the businesses you have accounts with. Utilities, phone plans, internet plans, etc. Call them and bitch about the prices and be a kike about it, but be kind and respectful. Ask about current promotions and how you can shave off some of your bill. Internet plan providers are usually the easiest to coerce into lowering your bill, especially if you start quoting from the heap of promotional junk mail that their competitors send you every damn week.

Do you know what your internet plan is? Do you need that much bandwidth? Honestly? Have you run an online speed test to make sure you're getting what you paid for? Are you using all of the features of your phone plan? Minues? Data? Do you have recurring charges for accounts that you seldom use, like a Spotify, Netflix, etc.? Do you have close friends/family who also use Spotify, Netflix, etc. with whom you could just share one account and split the savings? A can costs 0.85 EUR. I eat half a can everyday, sometimes when I'm really hungry I eat a whole can but I divide it into two portions. I don't eat anything else beside this chicken soup.

To add a bit of flavour, I add black pepper powder, cayenne powder and MSG.

I have a gf (3D), but I almost never treat her anything. I told her I'm not gonna spend money on stupid things before I hit my first goal in crypto which is 65k EUR.

I don't drink coffee, I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke, I don't go to cinemas, I don't hang out with normies (except for special occasions).

Nobody can tell the future, anon. Yes it's possible that going big on an altcoin that is still early on enough will yield a good return. Think about it this way: How much do you want to exit with and what kind of ROI do you expect is reasonable? If an altcoin is at 10 cents now and you estimate it will reach 50 cents eventually, that's a 500% ROI. That means if you want to exit with a million dollars, you need to put $200,000 into it today.

I am because I know my nation will change dramatically due to this, we're the european country with the lowest birthrates, I think the most expats, all our smart people left to go abroad, engineers here make 800€ out of college, even smart people here who like the country can barely make enough to survive let alone reproduce like they would like to, meanwhile cristovao and celeste from cape verde have 2 spawns already and live in a social neighboorhood getting money from the smart ones taxes.

I would be happy for this IF and only IF europeans learned from the jews and started creating a strong in group preference, started their own schools and institutions, because we won't have a home when I'm 50 according to pew research, and I'm a fierce critic of europeans to, we're not a smart race on average, and right now we're the most culled, we have to change if we want to survive and actually enjoy the world as a collective for once.

We need to scrape all this individualism, the dumb ones will mix with africans and make a second brazil, that's literally the nuclear scenario, brazil is such a shithole, does anyone have that infographic?

I have to disagree here although that is probably just a mater of semantics with how individualism is defined. You should hope for a strong family in a weak society not an average family in a strong society. I say this simply as a die hard believer in capitalism. but I don't see what difference it makes between benefits going to whitetrash Europeans or foreigners particularly with the next generation finding employment difficult due to automation. I firmly believe all threats are potential opportunitys if you are better prepared than everyone else

I’m a barista so here’s the deal

You could probably only make drip/American coffee well at home, and even if you have an espresso machine/grinder/etc., the ones used at typical coffee shop start around $2,500 (for just a shitty machine), so you’re probably using a polished turd if you think you’re actually making real cappuccinos and lattes at home (also you’re probably not trained in how to properly make these drinks either) But if that’s the quality of drink you’re okay with, whatever. Live your life

But I will say, for normal black coffee, buying it at a shop is usually only $1.50 to $2. Only those espresso based drinks would get anywhere near $5, but you really can’t just make those authentically at home. Plus if you just got a cappuccino it’s only around $3, not $5, and all other drinks are just an excuse to drink milk
Say you go to a shop every other day; you’re only spending about $25 a month on regular coffee, which anyone can do if you’re just not a literal nigger
If a good bag of beans is $15, you’re actually saving money on someone giving you the cups and using their own water and supplies to make your drink. You don’t have to wash any dishes, buy and cream/sugar, or use your own electricity
Thanks for reading my blog

How is this /pol tier? Douglas Murray wrote a whole book about this, Rabbi Sacks was yesterday in the Uk parliament talking about the value of a jewish education for the european, you're the type of people that told me bringing 1.2 million refugees in would bring absolutely no problems.

/Pol tier is believing that the bilderberg group is a satanic organization, that jews have a super collectivism so much so that there are no left wing or right wing jews, and that the kaliergi plan is a real thing because they read a quote out of context.

Yesterday 200 muslims were shouting death to all jews in malmo, I told a swede this would happen sooner or later a year or so ago, yet he acted pretentious and dismissed it, this is one of our biggest faults, we're not humble.

>>4941547
Matter of semantics indeed, fault in my part, what I meant by individualism was a loss of vision for what is us and them, who is an european and who is not, what are european values and what aren't, this declined drastically since the 50's, and now with the technology revolution it's only getting worse, the loss of community and the loneliness epidemic being the worst ones.

That post wasn't inherently serious anon, but let's say you make 100k/year working as en engineer at a big shot bay area company, after taxes you take home 60k, you invest 10% of that in crypto and stocks and instead of renting a room with your gf 1 hour away from train because the sf folks have driven prices up you pull an alex honnold and you build a sleeper van or you build a school bus into a nice home, without rent you'll at a minimum have 1 mill when you're 33 and are ready to settle and start a family in a comfy home, but anyone smart enough to work a 100/k job in SF would build a company or find an easier way.

Some guy at google made this btw : http://www.businessinsider.com/google-employee-lives-in-truck-in-parking-lot-2015-10 but his van sucks, engineers only think about functionality.

>Paying for cable in 2017

Seriously why do normies do this??

My Dad easily wastes 1k a year on cable alone. Muh sports, muh lighten up.

This is so retarded.

>Paying 80 dollars a month on an shitty alarm system.

Why not just buy some cameras and invest in one-time security upgrades??? WHY pay out the ass for something that doesn't even work effectively??

>Changing your IGoy every year and been happy to be paying a 130/month cellphone plan.

If you need a really good phone get an android and pay like 60 dollars tops. Why do normies need IGoys?

>Going out a friday night and splurging 30 percent of what you made wagecucking the whole week.

This specially goes to people that don't have particularly high salaries. Why make your situation more hopeless by literally wasting say 100-150 dollars in a weekend night, going out? Is not even that fun. The streets are congested. Everyone is a bit on edge because they have to go back wageslaving in 2 days and you will likely never be satisfied with the nightlife as a poorfag?

I rather have my stupid "austistic" pastimes (going to church, riding my bicycle, moderately splurge on a concert/interesting event once every blue moon) than being a fucking normie and wasting my salary every weekend.

>Buying new furniture/TV/whatever the fuck, within 3 years of the last time you did this same stupid shit.

This is highly infuriating and I see it comes particularly from women. A female relative of mine (that isn't even wealthy by any stretch of the imagination) did this very recently. and I asked her why.

Her response

>Well you know anon it just felt like it was time to throw away the old and welcome some new, you know?

This is literally retarded and she (along with a lot of women that do this) must simply have mental issues. If you buy furniture you like a lot, there is no reason to change it so quickly unless you specially like to be poor.

Biggest meal is breakfast. Dinner is like any typical 3 ingredient lunch you could get at any typical lunch eatery. That's it. Only twice. It's all I need. Never feel hungry.
The only things I don't prepare by my own hands are pre-made bread (which usually has nuts and fruit, or cheese, embedded), poppadoms, spring rolls, prawn toast, dumplings.
I could do them though, they are fairly trivial. Reason for spring rolls, prawn toast and dumplings is it is all in a pack together, and bread because bread is finicky, likewise poppadoms. (more so than bread!)
Oh, and I guess some sauces. But those are so cheap anyway. I waste more buying games I still haven't played. I could buy 20 sauces with a game.
No smartphone, no shitty subs for TV, or music, or satellite / cable.
