Why not sell everything and go live in Maldives(or Thailand) for $400/month? Live out your days in comfort without worries. It's so close anon we're almost there

I’m going to move to Vietnam and live a comfy life there for 500 usd a month. Even at current prices my crypto staking rewards will cover that

I know people near Phuket and Pai Thailand that just live off of their military disability (bullshit stuff like back pain). Rent property in the U.S and never need to work again. It's not full disability either

If we had property to rent in the U.S we wouldn't need to fucking go live in trannyland.

I'd say most nonpoors on /biz/ own a house. Now if you don't live.in that house because you're in another country you have rental property. See how that works kiddo? Adults are talking poorfag

Vietnam is probably the cheapest and fun place to go. Especially the north, Hanoi.
I went to India thinking I would have a fun cheap time - wrong. Expensive and ripped off every which way I turned. Could never relax. Vietnam could uber relax, it's not as developed as Thailand for tourists and not so much English though.

I lived in Thailand for a month, it's never like the pictures you naive retard. It's 3rd world shitskin/gook insect hive, hot and humid and all the women are ugly. To stay at a nice hotel like in your pic is way more than 400 units of circulated US currency.

It's not going to change the fact that you are not earning enough. Inflation is still going to eat you alive overseas.

/trv/eller here. Honest answer is:
1. visas are complicated, flights are expensive, moving stuff etc. Vietnam will not just let you live there for very long without a good reason.
2. all the good aspects are enjoyed in the first 1-3 month tourist mind phase. After this phase the glitter falls off and you realize how much you appreciate your functioning white country, for instance trains running on time or water being drinkable.
3. Its not THAT cheap when you have all these added costs of being foreign plus want to live at a western standard.
4. No you will not want to learn the language, yes it will annoy you listening to people talk after awhile.
5. You'll have no friends. Everyone you meet that you connect with will be a western person there for two weeks and then leaving.

My plan was unironically to do this in Bali for a while. Was thinking later this year or early next year. The markets crashing hard fucked me over my plans a bit though.

Manali India or Kosol area would be a chill place to be cheap. Esl boards have good visa strategy for Vietnam even if you don’t want to cheap. Cheapest place I stayed in was Laos. 67c a night. Shared a hut with an Argentinian broad

If you own a house I would consider renting it out and buying a yacht to cruise around on. You can get some super comfy yachts and don't lose money when you sell them if you maintain them well. I met a guy doing this he was super happy and thought he would do it for 10 years.

yup, getting closer

I plan to live in tourist towns, that way if I want to go out and have fun I can. Owning a bar in the place would be ideal.
