You could buy pic related in your dads generation by just not being lazy, walking down to the local factory, and asking for a job, no ambition and little effort needed, just show up to work mon-fri from 9-5.

If you want this house now, you'd have to become a ultra motivated super high testosterone entrepreneur with 7 different income streams working 7 days a week 18 hours a day running on stimulants for energy and TRT to ensure your hormones dont get fucked up.

I just didn't fuck around in school, got a worthwhile degree and now make 150k/yr. I just bought a 4 bedroom house about 25 mins drive away from a major city. I feel no sympathy for retarded slackers. You should have seen this coming.

My dad owns a multi-millionaire house and multiple investment properties that are all family homes. He left school at age 13 to goto trade school and work as an air-conditioning technician. All of his assets have been paid off for at least 2 decades now.

You tried hard in school, got higher education, god a top 10% income, and bought a house with massive amounts of leverage that you will be paying off for 30+ years and you'll be lucky to ever own more than that all with a high ambition education and high ambition top 10% income.

You could do the same now with 50% less taxes, 90% less money printing, and 90% less regulations on the housing market.
Now most of your money goes to jobless niggers, single moms, and big bankers.

Dollar's purchasing power were 6 times better. So that's a 1,2 million dollar house today. But I think houses were relatively cheaper back then so you could have bought an even better house.

That's false. Basic homes built in the 60s and 70s we're utter garbage. 2x6 floor joists spanning 10-12 feet, sometimes 24"o.c., 1/2subfloor, minimal regard for roofline rigidity and shit electrical and a bunch of illegal plumbing shit

You can still buy a new build in most towns working 9-5 if your wife works too

This sounds like cope desu. That anon has done well for himself and for (I assume he has) his family. Your father is a minuscule % of the population. You don’t need to be a multimillionaire to be happy and fulfilled you know.

kek this. i worked in a factory for 2.5 years. swing (rotating shifts). i can't even remember what the normal shift was, but when they wanted to increase margins they would drop from 4 teams to 3 teams and make us work 10 days on 3 days off e.g. 10 days of nights, 3 days off, 10 days of mornings, 3 days off, 10 days of evenings, 3 days off. this usually turned into 11 days on 2 days off with several days of mandatory overtime (12 hours.) and no, you didn't stack overtime by working "11 days in a row" because the work was scheduled such that the 11 day stretch was never more than 5 or 6 days within a single weekly pay period.
