one thing i'm not clear on is why you can't just use chainlink external adapters to do the computation. truebit only works with deterministic outputs, chainlink nodes that medianize the aggregate result of their computation should be able to do the same thing. there's an advantage to truebit in that it can digest any given computation at any time, whereas chainlink needs a new adapter written for every computational use case, but I assume that any service that would regularly make use of truebit would be capable of making adapters suited for their purposes, just as they would set up truebit tasks. maybe there's a distinction i'm missing here. truebit is nice for those eth maxis who want everything to run natively I guess

I'd be shocked if it even came close to $50, from what I understand the supply increases as the price increases (relative to eth), so there will be downward pressure before it moons.
On the other hand, there's also burn pressure if it decreases in price (relative to eth), so it likely won't fall too much.

That said if eth goes to some retarded value like 40k then I could see the truebit price follow it and going to like $10.
