Have you looked at the District proposals? It seems like not many people are committing Parcels to LAND right now.

I have two friends who are game developers. We are considering making our own district to blow the ones right now away by having actual developers, design, and funding.

Basic premise is that it would consist of two factions, each with their own city/stronghold, set at opposing ends of the land parcel. In the middle would be a landscape that was essentially no man's land with PvP and wild creatures roaming about. They're trying to figure out if they could tie weapon/armor drops to a blockchain-like system like Crypto Kitties where rare items would be unique and recorded immutably-- removing issues involving item duping and economy manipulation.

Each population center would also have gambling dens, jousting, and fighting pits where you could even bet on renowned gladiators or top fighters. Best part is you keep the MANA you make on your own land in Decentraland.

Down the road, they could even start to implement things like raid bosses that might require both sides to work together or city sieges or territory conquering. I think there's a high potential for it to grow even from there into maybe it's own world entirely.

It's crazy all the ideas Decentraland can open you up to!

The auction for LAND parcels are December 15th.

No telling what impact it'll have on MANA prices, but since you need to BURN your MANA to get LAND it will be deflationary.
