What is it with people of color and scamming/robbing? The correlation seems a bit racist.

Came here to post this.

He says someone ordered a SIM card for his phone number, then put in theirs and used it to Auth his gmail.

How the FUCK is this possible? Shouldnt VZW be responsible for this then?

And if it is a scheme to avoid taxes... well, that's very possible, but he'd have to jump thru hoops, right? or wouldn't more do it. i.e. XMR to LLC in Caymans?

>> No.4758620

Don't forget to report him to the IRS.

Why would they be "mad" when they're among the biggest figures of crypto

If he is hiding his money this is an extremely retarded defense. Verizon will gladly deny these claims and provide evidence to the IRS if this incident never occured.

Total bullshit. A SIM card contains very little data (32-256kb), all it really does is say you have this phone number and this level of service.
There is NO WAY to store the phone's app data on a SIM card. And he's implying that his service provider loaded his authenticator app and codes onto a SIM. This simply would not ever happen. Completely preposterous.

>>4758754
Verizon will have a very good argument against him for the reason posted above. He better hope they don't get involved because he's royally fucked if they do.

That is possible. Perhaps then verizon could have some culpability for providing a SIM to the wrong person.
It's pretty ingenious actually.
>>4759383
Gmail offers 2fa through sms by default. Once they got that, they access the gmail and use it to reset the password on the exchange.
Question is how this is possible unless the exchange used sms for 2fa as well. Otherwise they wouldn't have the code for the exchange.
Unless he was dumb enough to not use 2fa for his exchange account lmao.
