What is the highest return in percents that a stock can yield in one day? Google isn't helping.

Is it realistic to turn $40 into 1 million in just one day in the stock market?

Oh yeah man, $40 to 1 million, happens every day. That's why all the casinos and lottos shut down because people were making way too much big money in stocks to want to bother with stupid games.

THere's no highest percentage, just say a small mining company finds a massive supply of massive gold nuggets, the stock could literally 1000x in a day, there is no limit.

I would recommend you put 40$ on every stock, that way, you can increase your chances!

The only way this works is if you have a leveraged buy order at the bottom of a flash crash

Ex. GDAX flash crash took the price of Ethereum from $310 to $0.10 and back to $290 in the span of several seconds. One guy at the bottom managed to buy a few thousand ethereum for less than $0.20 a piece and turned like $500 into about a million. So if you were on a platform that allowed margin trading with a major stock as it flash crashed its possible, but you'd have to be the lucky one who got your order filled before the bots

Can a stock raise from less than a penny to 25 dollars in a day or week?

>> No.4067938

There's no limit in principle, but, on average, the best performing stocks of the day can move 100% each day. Today NEOS was up 35%, for example.

If you leverage, your returns (or losses) can be multiplied. So if you went 100x leverage on NEOS, you'd be up 3500% today.

Yes. Amazon was up $100 per share in after hours trading today. So was Google.

Did a quick google, there's been a couple that have gone up about 1000% in a day, and they say there's about 20 a year that go up 100-200% in a day when a takeover is announced. Couldn't find more.

I think your best bet would be waiting for something happening in bitcoin. Then going all in on 100x leverage, then after you gain 50-100% going all in again with the same leverage. The risk would be astronomical of turning that into 1 mill. Better off buying a lotto ticket.
