SO I have never handled crypto before and allot of people were hot and horny for OMG and I splooged one hundred dollars into it. I made a mistake by buying at an all time high out of fear that if I waited I wouldnt get in while pries were reasonable. right now that one hundred is worth 60 or so dollars and I have seen it got between that and 80. not really sure what to think. allot of people are waiting till the end of the year to sell and I cant help but feel kind of questioning it. were do you think its going and when do you think I should sell?

Anon most of us trade to increase the value against BTC with these coins. The reason is BTC grows like crazy. At the end of the day BTC is going to keep skyrocketing for awhile until these assets find fair value in correction. If you hold your purchase your USD gains will be positive in the future but it might fall against BTC as it rises. It was pumped when you bought but a lot of us did.

I keep about 150 OMG because it will go nuts at some point. It's just not going to make moves in the short term right now until dev releases news on the progress made.

thanks for the reply, last time I came about here talking about OMG I couldnt stop getting called a faggot with no real answers XD you definitely made me feel a bit more confident. and Im more a long term investment person for now... although I really do want to learn how to trade short term to make quick money I just believe long term investing yields allot of money even if it takes a while.

You'll lose everything daytrading alts. Buying alts is a bet against btc. Buy btc and keep working your job.

I figure as much it would take one hell of a company to surpass btc but I just feel like even a hundred dollars in btc would be pretty worthless but I know it would increase in value it would jsut take forever

If you want to learn a bit more about daytrading, look up Datadash on youtube. He looks like he's 12 years old but the little autist hasn't steered me wrong yet. He's got some decent guides you can study.

Never attempt to daytrade more than half of your stack. If you end up losing all of your daytrading portion, do not just transfer more from your holding. Wait until you buy more with a fiat infusion. Having to wait is your punishment for your mistakes and will make you a more patient trader in the long run.
