I use ccxt-dev/ccxt and the whole scikit+jupyter stack for primary research, look for low market cap coins, run some modelling to dismiss obvious bullshit and then go from there. Now ETP was actually easy to see, it was shilled here very, very briefly like a month ago. But the biggest thing was that it traded much higher originally and then dropped off into the void when china started fudding, clearly indicating a dump on fear. After that it was all luck regarding finding the right entry point, but I knew it would moon 100%

So to spot this type of pattern I run a script to identify huge drops in historic close prices and then decide if that was a legit pnd coin or if theres something more to it. There's a bunch of other shit you can do to identify this type of thing, honestly I could write a book about it. When I worked with traditional investing the problem to me was always the closed nature of data and its availability

I don't use the nlp script for investing at all, it just produces a signal that is fed into a larger model which I run to algo trade crypto.
