he refined it and had GREAT presentation, but he mainly drew from what others did and put all the pieces together
HUNDREDS of people were working on a lightbulb at the time
similar, dozens of people were wokring on cryptographic currencies, but satoshi was the madman who put it all together and advanced it so much that it was actually implementable, unlike szabo's invention
you'll find a lot of major ground breaking inventions are created in a similar fashion
satoshi didn't need hundreds working with him though, he fucking did it with the work of less than a dozen others.
It's quite likely we see another satoshi figure now that there are hundreds of cryptos, and he may put it all together to create the one true crypto
