Sticking to a fixed ratio and rebalancign it relatively often is still passive investing. Once you start adapting the ratios to current market movements is when it becomes active.
Longing volatility and that rebalancing with stable equities, and also the commodity trend thing is OK.

they are still growing, rapidly
as long as they can grow the business at a high rate, it doesn't make sense to pay out dividends and hamper / slow growth
microsoft for example didn't start paying dividends until 2003
https://www.information-age.com/microsoft-to-pay-dividend-for-first-time-in-its-history-294386/
>17 January 2003 Software giant Microsoft has said it will pay shareholders dividends for the first time in its history
Microsoft started in 1975
that is 28 years without paying a dividend
Now MSFT is practically considered a dividend stock
(Amazon started in 1994)

They have only recently demonstrated it in scale. Before that, "proprietary catalyst", and "magic new process" was extremely sketch.
The new process is actually patented, with some results also listed, so that looks legit now.
The catalyst being a "trade secret" is still suspicious, but I've found some papers that used new zeolite-like catalysts to turn cellulose into iso-octane, so it's at least feasible.
I've read their financial statement too, and it didn't sound too fraudulent, except for the shitton of dilutions they did, and the amount of outstanding warrants is a bit worrying. But that's to be expected in an experimental-stage company.

I've only put in my gambling budget though.

It's over exaggerated for marketing value. They are turning cellulose and some polymers into hydrocarbons. The technology is rather mature actually, catalyzed pyrolysis being the mainstream way to do it.
Their invetion is that they probably found a cheap catalyst that can break down cellulose to properly sized fragments and then deoxygenize it in a relatively low heat and low pressure environment. The rest of the machinery is cookie-cutter stuff.
And no, I wouldn't trust Don at all, that's why I didn't pour in my whole portolio.

The first measure of a company is your moral evaluation of that company. If someone simply can not accept investing in oil then he will be unhappy buying Exxon. He is much better off investing in green energy they even if profits are smaller.

That's pretty classic great timing. I was pleased to note that Peter Lynch suggested that you generally have time to get into great stocks from their open to their rises on the markets. He noted the difference in a few years was often 10x vs 30x, and that both would get you retirement.
I can't say obviously, but if you see no other flaws, and the product is one you believe in, you'd be foolish to not buy in.
Of course, average in - average out is a more comfortable way.

No I agree that's it's a sleeping giant and bcrx makes good calls on this board and others which is why I bought it and have heard the same rumours, didn't know about the board at isbrg, I'm just skeptical on the long term implementation because of course testing is great news but that's what it is, testing, and similar tech had been used for other viruses, but who knows what will happen, that's the uncertainty of it, even something as simple as their submissions having problems can make health Canada push back on them, which tanks the price, other companies have had this problem. You're right to be anticipating big things but the step from patent, testing, submission, approval implementation, economic viability, is long and can be risky

I hear you. And I agree with those points. I will say from what I've gathered we are just about to go through the testing phase. It's already patent tech with the copy right as well. That was last year, it's quite possible because of the stealth of this company they were doing trials already. We know Nothing about what isbrg has been doing because it's pretty secretive. Could be shit for us investors, but with the team involved I bet it's the opposite. I'm betting they know the tech works, have tried it on a small scale and can see it works and now just need a bigger test for formalities. We don't know how long the trial will run for health Canada, it could be a few weeks, it could be a few months it could be a year. My guess is if it's working, it won't be long. They want things to be normal for school next year and a system that can test you in 15 seconds non invasively is perfect for schools and government buildings. He fills me with hopium that I do not need to wage so I may be blind a bit, but the leaders of isbrg already have the government connections and so does universal proptech. It's going to happen.

Neofeudalism. A return to the dark ages where the rationalism and critical thought of the enlightenment is snuffed out, and a return to times where man is dominated by magical thinking, superstition, and dogma. They are conditioning society to reject what their eyes and ears tell them, and to accept what their overlords demand of them. “Trust the experts” rather than examining what the experts are basing their opinions on. Stop thinking, stop examining, just accept what you are told because they have decreed it so.

Its absolutely insane for a critical thinking society. But for a society that no longer is capable of critical thought, who are they to know any better?
