Also I avoid the GUI wallet like the plague, it always crashes my pc and gets flagged by AV because it has a miner

How long have you been mining for? Moneroocean needs between 2-6 hours to properly display your mining performance.

Why does the coin make a difference when choosing the wallet?

Yeah dude thats way too slow. I started mining yeaterday on cudominder and ive gotten 0.0005 monero so far at 1300 H/s. The best processor rightnow does 60000h/s but is 4 grand just for processor. Im thinking of just getting a prebuild gaming rig with an amd ryzen in it thats in the $1500 but use amex points to pay for it. Hopefully get me in the 10000-15000 H/s range
