I don't really know how they work, but I actually tried it with 0.5 BTC at first and got 4.85 BTC back, so a little below x10, but I didn't complain. I put 2 BTC of this profit back in, got 19.9 BTC back. I guess the small differences are somehow due to price variations, they seem to use the BTC for arbitrage trading, everybody making massive profits.
