Currently being spammed at 26 CPS (confirmed TPS, both send and receive)

Zero fees
Sub 1 second confirms
All 1,000,000 transactions combined still use less than 1/6th the energy of a single BTC transfer

Do I really have to spell it out for you, anon?

I have been watching the spam attack for the last 8 hours and the ledger hasn't increased in size from 40.30GB, not one decimal.

I do believe pruning is in the works however. Due to how Nano records account balances, in theory the operating ledger could be pruned down to simply recording the most recent transaction, with the legacy ledger being saved on historical nodes.

Is infinite scalability? Sounds like it.

You bagholders are pathetic. All this effort shilling when you can spin up your own network.
https://docs.linuxserver.io/images/docker-nano
The network this runs on is worth almost nothing, that is what none of you understand. It is in the thousands of dollars per month of infrastructure.
I'm telling you guys, change a couple files, put a new prefix and spin up your own without the fucked coin distribution that is Nano.
Shit, just run a new captcha drop, but do it transparently and not like a bunch of shady kikes like Colin did.

idk, Nano has really low liquidity. It seems to be a coin that you either love or hate. And right now we have gotten normie attention (top 5 most popular crypto subreddit, top 3-5 average most mentioned crypto on twitter), yet we are rank 88 currently.

What this says to me, is that there are a lot of real world people getting invested in Nano, as opposed to whales who would like to own a large share of the supply. This becomes more evident when you realize Nano had no ICO. There was no one who got in early and has a large financial, institutional investment to shill it. You can see further examples of this comparing the community and posts/media behind Nano vs. other projects. This board especially is quite telling.

That being said, most people I have to imagine are holding. The community is resilient, and aside from a few of the reddit tier wsb faggots that aped in last month, most of us know this is the long game. Any serious buys will spike the price quite a bit. Because there simply isn't that much available.

Zero inflation combined with being fully distributed, with no fees or funds being recirculated by miners, means that Nano is one of if not the most stable assets in existence. It can only be obtained through the direct sale of one individual to another.

Only reason why anyone has heard about Nano is that they lied about Nano having 7000 tps (reality was 1% of promised tps) when BTC network was clogged in late 2017. Worse Nano has the absurd business model that they can get suckers to run the network for free, zero compensation whatsoever, and thus have zero fees. Works well when NOBODY is using the crashed tech network. However, if you ask how much it will cost in CPU, IO, bandwidth, hardware etc to run a global network on their plebbit page, /r/NanoCircleJerk, you will be banned within seconds. Same if you ask anything related to their crashed tech, cost analysis for a global network based on volunteers taking all the costs, swindle, corruption and scam. Nano provides zero real-world transparency.

Nano is not free, can't scale, and is wide open to spam attacks. Nano's claim in their whitepaper about unlimited scaling is absolutely rubbish. It's just as crazy as me stating that I will go the moon using my bicycle, proudly claiming that my speed is unlimited, only restricted by my muscle strength and I am getting stronger and stronger for each day, and very soon I will be strong enough to get such a high speed that I will jump to the moon. Ridiculous. Do they have any written plan for 100 000 TPS? Any cost analysis? ETH and other competitors will roll out 100K to 1 million TPS in a matter of months/year.

Nano has done zero cost analysis for 100 000 TPS bandwidth, CPU, and IO. Random volunteers are supposed to take costs involving millions of USD each year, working on the network 24/ with no downtime, holidays, Christmas etc. Nano has done nothing to provide how it is feasible for Nano to reach 100 000 TPS within the next years. However, imagining it's possible, Nanoids admits that Amazon and large operators like them will take all the costs and burdens of operating the system. That's a clear and open single point of failure (SPOF) and is the very reason why people choose crypto currencies over banks and centralized payment systems. That Nano is not able to identify a clear and basic SPOF in their system is worrisome on multiple levels.

Nano's tech is crashed and will never ever be a global currency with 200-600 tps, wide open for spam attacks. Minium for a global currency is 100 000 tps, Visa has 65 000 tps and is not calibrated for serving the unbanked and micro-payments.

Constellation has zero fees and has solved the scaling problem. Only those with mass usage must pay the nodes, while private citizens have no fee on their transactions. Thus they also have avoided the spam problem. Unlike crashed tech trainwreck Nano.

Solana can do 50 000 tps and the average free per transaction is $0.00001. Fees are not a problem.

Disclaimer, I have no Solana as I did not like their distribution.

Bitgrail trustees are ready to dump 4 million Nano on the market. That shit will go back to sub 1 USD and then just fizzle away.

Because all costs and work is done by volunteers. A crazy system that functions with zero load on the network but with never function if your tech trainwreck would ever be able to go from 200-600 tps to the necessary 100 000 tps. Plus with no fees, your shit vaporware is wide open to spam attacks.
