Is 1000 enough to make it?

>> No.30020350

>>30019747
nobody knows. Personally I was over 1000 but I am under it now because I sold some at 32 and 34 on that last pump. I could get back above 1000 but I am comfy in ETH and AVAX now. I used to be obsessed with the goal stack of 1000 and shit but in reality none of that matters all that matters is making money. To answer your question more directly. No, I don't think 1000 is enough to make it. Not this market cycle. I do think it will go into the hundreds. Somewhere between 100-300 this market cycle. But 1000 LINK isn't enough on it's own for you to make it yet. But its a damn good stack and will definitely get us into 6 figs if you aren't there already.

i think this folio will get you just shy of a million at the absolute peak of the bull run (which will be awhile from now, possibly another year for you to accumulate). And that's if you sell and take profits on the way up and don't get dumped on -85% in the span of 2.5 weeks when the next bear market comes. There is a lot of factors to consider with what could happen in the next 1.5 years, and when the bull run will actually definitively end. But I can say that your risk management is good, and you will not be sorry for making a plan to sell and sticking to it. But there is no harm in holding through this march crash we are about to go through. This bullrun is just heating up.

No problem. For some perspective, the marketcap of crypto is currently 1.5T. Which is really overvalued for the time we are in (which is why a further correction is quite likely). But in the larger scope of things, you shouldn't even consider this bull run close to over until we hit at least 5T. And even then I see no reason we can't go to 6-12T. So yea. Just keep holding and look for low points to buy up and increase your positions. And when things start heating up to those rough numbers I laid out for you, come with a plan. Anything. Pick some price you're happy with, make a plan, and stick to it and sell. Greed will get you slaughtered when things turn manic. And if you hold into the bear your 800k will turn to 150k. You don't want that.

>> No.30021169

>>30020910
As i said. Nobody knows and everyone has an opinion. What's important is that you have a plan to sell and you stick to it when you get the funny feeling the jig is up.

I don't say this to be mean, but that just means your intuition isn't refined enough. Intuition relies heavily on past data to predict the future. So if you do not have a lot of past data to reference (or you have very cherrypicked or biased data) then your intuition will likely give you gut signals that are inaccurate. When I read something like what you just wrote, the first thing that comes to mind is that your chain of incentives is ass backward. In other words, you are like 80% of this board. Emotional as fuck. Your intuition is primed in a way so that when it sees green it wants to buy and when it sees red it wants to sell. You have to reverse that internal wiring if you want to win that this game. The more fear you see in people on this board and in the community, the more your intuition needs to crave buying crypto. I mean true fear. And the more mania you see. The more complete and utter nonsense "this time is different" bullshit you see. The more your intuition needs to be primed to signal you to get the fuck out of there. And no i'm not talking about a screenshot of a celebrity posting about bitcoin on twitter being a buy signal. At the end of the day, we want normies to get into the market so they buy our bags and make us rich. I am talking about true fucking mania. Like we seen here last month, in a way. But the peak of the bull will be far worse. When we get into 6-12T marketcap you will see what i mean. And if you are scared when they aren't, you're the sucker.

Anyone who (like me) was glued to biz during the chainlink run in August has seen the mania. People Unironically expecting +$50. Memes had broken down to literally just color and screams from 17 to the peak.

The peak euphoria doesn't even disguise itself.

i too, witnessed that. And unironically missed the sell point that I KNEW was a good time to sell. I don't mind a lesson to remind me to sell when things are high though. That lesson has helped me with things during this bull run so far. I think LINK will go manic this summer coming up. I don't have a firm price prediction, but LINK still has gas in the tank forsure. I will be sitting on my stack until things get really manic on LINK again. And i'm not talking $40-50 in the short term either..

unironically a good counterargument. Albeit it is an ad hominem. So it can only be so good. But what I wrote is a lot of theory and only limited practice. With that being said I don't think I said anything impractical. And I did put an emphasis on selling and securing profit.
