How is it even possible to be stuck in 4 figure hell? Literally just put 3-4 paycheques into crypto and you're in 5 digits.

I am, even worse, it's where I started out. I put $2k into crypto back in 2017. I put $6k into crypto in 2020. Today my portfolio is about $7k.

I fucking hate myself for missing out on literally everything. I knew about bitcoin in 2010 but never bought because I could get drugs irl and didn't need the dark web. After btc got to 1,000 in 2013 then dumped after mt gox hack I thought it was fad would never be a true store of value. I even have a photo of myself in las vegas in 2014 and there's a giant billboard ad in bright colors for bitcoin. I followed it in 2016 since I started coming back to 4chan for election related memes. Watched it rise throughout 2017 and never bought, told myself I'd wait til it dipped back under $1000. Finally bought into crypto when btc was about 9k

Then I diversified into altcoins. Mainly litecoin, trippled my stack but didn't sell immediately. Not sure if I profited at all. Then I invested everything into siacoin because it was 2 cents and I thought it could moon, plus I liked the underlying idea and that it already had a working product. Went up to 700 sats at one point, my 2k was now worth 7k...but did I sell? No of course not, I bought into the HODL meme and thought it would keep going up. It didn't, it dumped and btc dumped. At the end of it that 2k was barely worth 200 bucks.

I stopped paying attention to crypto until last year. Then in March I heard about OGN and dumped 5k into it at the top like at 50 cents. Also bought 1000 worth of litecoin when it was at 30 dollars back in march. Sold it in September or October because I only 2x'd it and though it wouldn't go higher. Put that into OGN which continued to dump

Now OGN is finally recovering, I could've sold a few weeks ago and at least doubled my total investment from 2020, but I didn't. I do think it will go higher so I'm still holding, but fuck do I feel like an idiot

And oh yeah, when I was first getting into crypto in fall of 2017, I saw all the LINK threads

I've touched 10000 three times yet here I am, back at 3000 again. I am not going to make it bros.

I don't really think you should be trying to diversify that much, you need to all in on a decent lowcap or 10x btc long and take profits but don't close the whole position all at once, and cut losses quick. You shouldn't be losing money in a bull market though.

I like reading stories like yours it's refreshing on a board full of larps, I'm similar except I started buying btc around the time gox happened and was DCA'ing all the way to the $200s in 2015. Ended up exiting around breakeven at about 600 and didn't buy back in until around 10k a few months ago. But I've never been into altcoins except xmr, more into btc futures.
