Economics with a Business minor will make you stand out over all the Business majors. Get an internship at any decent bank, and then aim for some kind of entry level analyst job. Any state university is ok so long as they have a good Economics/Business school.

t. work in banking and did the above.

here's what you need to do:
>go to any top 30 school
>double major in Econ/Stats, or Econ/Math, or Econ/CompSci
>get an internship at a company people have heard of between your 3rd and 4th years
>graduate with a GPA at or above 3.6
do these things and you should have no problem finding an entry-level analyst or data scientist job at a major bank

>>29984417
shitty advice; business minors are worthless and studying Econ by itself with no additional studies in Stats/Math/CompSci is not nearly as valuable as it was ten years ago

"business school" refers to postgraduate programs where you spend two years getting a master's in business administration (MBA). People typically don't go to get their MBA until after they graduate college and work for a few years. You're still in high school, so business school is at least ~6 years away. Stop thinking/asking about business school.
