>Palantir: The Sell-Off Is Not Over

>Of course, a major reason for the sell-off has been due to the recent bearishness in the general markets, especially with high-growth tech operators. It does look like investors are getting nervous about rapidly increasing interest rates.

>But general market sentiment is not the only factor impacting PLTR stock. Keep in mind that the latest earnings report was also disconcerting for Wall Street. Now it’s true that – on the surface – the performance looked solid. Revenues jumped by 40% to $322 million, trumping analysts’ prediction of $300.7 million. As for the non-GAAP earnings, they came to six cents a share, compared to the Street estimate of two cents a share.

>So then what was the problem with the report? Well, it looks like growth will decelerate. For the full-year, the forecast is for revenues to rise by around 30%.

>The Chief Operating Officer, Shyam Sankar, sold 757,510 shares at prices that ranged from $24.59 to $29 (he netted over $21 million). Then there were the sales of 2.7 million shares from three other executives. They include Stephen Cohen, the cofounder and president; Matthew Long, the general counsel; and Ryan Taylor, the chief legal officer and business affairs officer.

>Such activity is not necessarily unusual (after all, equity compensation is a big part of the Silicon Valley way). But it is still a red flag. Whenever a group of executives sell off their shares — especially after a big run-up — this is a sign that the valuation of the stock is on the high side.

>And this really should not be a surprise either with PLTR stock, which is trading at 24 times sales. This is definitely a stretch, as the growth rate is likely to come down. Thus, it might be better to temper expectations on this investment for now.

PLTRannies 41%ining soon

Something to understand about inflation is that buisnesses tend to not actually keep up with the money supply. Weimar got so bad specifically because inflation was SO pervasive that the buisnesses started selling items at higher prices then actual inflation came in at, usually businesses LAG inflation printing by a couple months, with weimar they started front running the printing meaning prices were higher then there was even money for

>>29845319
I'm the actual dude from last thread, I recommend EDV, it has a longer average duration then TLT.
Inflation isn't over 2% though, bonds haven't priced that in, I would wait anon. The fed is still dovish. Keep stacking money on equities, start keeping an eye on the 30 year yield and once it climbs past 3.5% that is when you consider buying in if the fed starts talking about maybe tapering down on inflation. Remeber, rate cuts are priced in for 2023 at this point, when they start moving up then you start looking to buy

I think I read about it in the intelligent investor. Also I’m fucked, I should have used a stop loss, thought the market had another year in it before the big crash, but looking back over time, the market has always climbed back up after a crash, so you are better of just bagholding

Now wait a minute though. They are not really SaaS in a "you just subsribe for one of our products, integrate it yourself and be happy" sense.
They have to manually integrate all their shit at the customer. With Palantir employees. And then support that for a decade.
This means with each customer they have to hire more and more people. Judging by employee reviews, they already sold way more integrations than they can do, and the engineers are getting way overstretched.

They are an outsourcing company, but they won't admit it. Unless they implement a Salesforce-like trainign program and contractors, they are absolutely doomed. And there is no sign of them doing any of this.
It figures since the CEO is a fucking tool, and their CFO has no finance experience.
