>Palantir: The Sell-Off Is Not Over

>Of course, a major reason for the sell-off has been due to the recent bearishness in the general markets, especially with high-growth tech operators. It does look like investors are getting nervous about rapidly increasing interest rates.

>But general market sentiment is not the only factor impacting PLTR stock. Keep in mind that the latest earnings report was also disconcerting for Wall Street. Now it’s true that – on the surface – the performance looked solid. Revenues jumped by 40% to $322 million, trumping analysts’ prediction of $300.7 million. As for the non-GAAP earnings, they came to six cents a share, compared to the Street estimate of two cents a share.

>So then what was the problem with the report? Well, it looks like growth will decelerate. For the full-year, the forecast is for revenues to rise by around 30%.

>The Chief Operating Officer, Shyam Sankar, sold 757,510 shares at prices that ranged from $24.59 to $29 (he netted over $21 million). Then there were the sales of 2.7 million shares from three other executives. They include Stephen Cohen, the cofounder and president; Matthew Long, the general counsel; and Ryan Taylor, the chief legal officer and business affairs officer.

>Such activity is not necessarily unusual (after all, equity compensation is a big part of the Silicon Valley way). But it is still a red flag. Whenever a group of executives sell off their shares — especially after a big run-up — this is a sign that the valuation of the stock is on the high side.

>And this really should not be a surprise either with PLTR stock, which is trading at 24 times sales. This is definitely a stretch, as the growth rate is likely to come down. Thus, it might be better to temper expectations on this investment for now.

PLTRannies 41%ining soon

REPOAST

Any opinions on Rosagro? It's about to report ridiculous earnings this year, and they only seem to go up, and up, and up, every year. P/e is at 5 as it is and in the Q3 report they discussed they might pay out a very fat dividend over all this profit.

I think I figure out the game anons.
Hyperinflation will hit, when that is noticed by normies BTC will crash to help offset USD inflating. BTC was literally invented by spooks to offset the affects(they threw under the rug) of 2008 crash. I finally figured it out.
BTC crash causes deflation of USD. Everyone rushes to USD when BTC falls.
Current market shit like Burry has been autistic about is leading to hyperinflation.
My guess is Satoshi wallet are just the gov’t emergency deflate USD wallet. Its why Tether exists to pump BTC and have NOTHING to back it. Spooks created the world biggest ponzi outside USD system.
They keep printing tether till the big rugpull and USD goes to the moon. But I imagine they can do it as fast or as slow as they want to achieve the inflation/deflation they want in USD.
Maybe other anons can think about this to and ad input this.
I think a big problem with going with Burry’s ideas could fuck you cause they will crash BTC to save USD

Current price is $574
March 19th Sell Call at say 10 strikes (620c) out? 15 strikes (645c) out?

Due to the volatility of SOXL, if the price creeps within what, 10% of your strike, you close the call with whatever profit you achieved? I suppose to be more direct:
How deep OTM do you go and at which point numerically to your call will you close the option for modest profit?

Every month I sell far OTM calls about 30% out and if the price gets within $50 dollars or so I start thinking about rolling. You can't let the price get too close to your strikes lest the delta get too high and the cost of rolling gets out of control. When I do roll which is rare, I don't roll all at once. Just one at a time as the situation develops as often times the price will go back down some and theta will knock the premium down.
The real trick with SOXL is to get in tune with its movement and inherent volatility. Learn what is a "high" and sell there. Learn what is a low and buy back in. Never EVER roll down if SOXL dips as it has a tendency to make fierce comebacks that will have you in the money within 3 days. You have to be patient and not get greedy. Wrong.

CLF dropped 20% this week because the financial data on most sites is incorrect. The A.I subtracted the included costs of the MT USA acquisition of .10 a share. So to anyone or anything trading based on that data it looks like they reported 4 cents instead of 14 cents. Further, guidance is good.

Combine that with the Small Cap S&P needing to sell a shit ton of shares so the Mid Cap S&P 400 can buy them back and you had the results of this week

>You seen the chatter? Diamond hands are holding strong as fuck. Soooo many players waiting til the squeeze is squoze.
>And, with new hedgies coming in to short? I think you'd be out if you shorted. Plus, the price for shorting is WAYYYY high now.
>I think this is the week to squeeze.
>I think next week, we're goin to the moon and havin a rockin tendies party.
>If you're not in on the chatter, you have, basically, tomorrow to get caught up. Lol
>While GME is still the main focus of the squeeze, it's only because it's still so highly shorted. I'm anticipating a buying frenzy on Monday, with paper hands selling at a peak, causing a dip
>These crazy fucks are buying more, holding, and *NOT* selling. I've got limit buys in place for 200 a share to catch a dip, but I *might* buy at open.
>Also goin high on AMC and NOK.
>Companies like AMC and Gamestop.... the hedgies were *right* to short them. They were hurting, if not dying. Problem is, we're now the largest hedge fund in the world and we can say "fuck the billionaires' bets" we buy cuz we like the stock, the price rises, *they* have to buy shares to cover their shorts, stock goes up, we laugh
>I'm new, but I'm in. And if we lose, that's okay too. But my diamond hands are holding. We wait til the squeeze is squoze. That simple. We buy, hold, and buy more in the dips. And continue to grow.

>Those are super OTM (and very cheap investment). With the bid/ask spread do you go for the middle or do you find success submitting a price more toward the bid (and due to being so OTM you have good success)? $1.50 is awesome cheap and using that call for example what would be your profit on one call?
I think our wires are a bit crossed. I don't buy the options, I sell them. I sold those in mid-February when they were a lot higher, closer to $1500 a piece. Since the market has pulled back some, they've dropped to $150 and the difference is my profit.
If you're thinking about buying calls on SOXL and get it right, you can surely make a lot of money though so I wouldn't discourage it. My thing is holding a lot of shares and selling calls farming premium. SOXL is unique among index ETFs in that it has an extreme level of volatility, much more than even TQQQ, while appreciating in value about as much as TQQQ in the long term. The upshot is if you have a large SOXL stack, you can sell those more expensive options with about the level of safety you'd get with TQQQ and use the large premiums to buy more SOXL in a snowball effect.

Some points about what company does:
It's biopharmaceutical company that develops drug Cosela (trilaciclib). Cosela (trilaciclib) is the first therapy in its class to "reduce the frequency of chemotherapy-induced bone marrow suppression in adults receiving certain types of chemotherapy for extensive-stage (when the cancer has spread beyond the lungs) small cell lung cancer."

- helps to mitigate negative effects of chemotherapy
- breakthrough technology
- has no competition in the market
- potential blockbuster
- already approved by FDA
- is studied to help people with colorectal and breast cancer (1-3 phases in pipeline) which will dramatically increase its use. There are no problems so far.

Your explanations and the other guys are quite intuitive. Regarding stacks, I only have 120 shares. However, if I can establish a rhythm in CC's, rolling the profits into more shares is not out of the question. If it's a slow day in the market I'll try to get closer to the ask with my sells and get the better price but otherwise I go with the mid price. That far out it's mostly market makers taking the trades and they don't like paying extra. I do get lucky though
For distance OTM, you're looking at 30% minimum and you want to sell on an upswing always. Less than that and you will eventually have to roll.

I'm selling the calls and buying them back during regular market hours but I'll typically hold a call for most of the month. Assuming I hold the previous calls I sold to expiration, which is the third Friday of the month, I will sell new calls on the following Monday for something like $1500 a piece, assuming the market is at a decent high. If the market subsequently dumps within a week or two, and those calls go down to say $150 or $100 I will buy them back and wait until the next month to sell calls again. If the market doesn't dump, I will just hold the calls the entire month. If SOXL moons out of control and the calls get within $50 or so of in the money I will start buying them back and rolling further out of the money the next month.
I'll add too that after selling the calls at the beginning of the monthly option period, I will take the premium I receive and buy leaps calls on TQQQ and sell monthly calls on those then take that premium and buy FNGU shares. At the end of the month, I square everything up and move the profits out of Robinhood. That only happens in extreme bull markets, before covid the only gambles pretty much were some select IPO's, a few tech, but mostly biopharma.
Catching the bottom of a bond bear market however and getting ludicrous returns then buying into valuable companies for the cheap could easily turn you 1,000% before the next actual speculative bull market gets going if executed correctly, you could easily turn $10k into a million in a decade if you learn macro well

No I'm saying buy bonds after their yield has topped out. If you buy a 30 year bond now, and yields crater back to 0.5% over the next month, you've made 40-50% just like that in one month. If you catch a 30 year at anything above 5% before liquidity starts getting sapped, you could easily make hundreds of percents.
When inflation goes higher you buy bonds in anticipation of inflation ending, they will always perform better then stocks when inflation goes above 2-3%, which is basically what that chart is showing. Equities are based on speculative investor psychology based around the perceived time value of money and groupthink effects, bonds are based on hard risk numbers, they perform insanely well compared to equity when inflation is happening, generally because markets end up pricing in too much inflation for too long.

Yeah? Then you won't build generational wealth, simple. You're self selecting your genetics out of the future, if you can live with that go ahead.

Pop of what? Pop of the debt bubble? I do mean that yes, but either way if bonds are pricing in an average of 20% inflation over the next 3 decades you best be buying bonds, even if it runs a little over to 30-40% for a couple of years in the long run you will absolutely make a killing when it gets reigned in. Meanwhile equities tend to stagnate HARD when inflation hits, go look at SPY '70-'80 for an example
