You think you're wise just because you know about the cycles (they SEEM to exist but there is no actual proof of them until after they've fully manifested), but actually posts like yours are a bit cringe and shows that the poster is missing several important things.

For example you're looking at it from a purely mathematical/numbers point of view, but you don't take into account people's feelings. People's emotions about price movements are extremely important. If most people FEEL the same way about BTC when it's near 60k as they did when it was near 20k, then THAT alone will have a massive effect on the price. If they (not people who entered recently, but old holders with lots of coins) FELT that 58k was very high and they FELT they should take profits there for fear of missing selling at what felt like a possible top, then that's what they did, they sold... and then when it dropped over 12k in a day, some big players who didn't sell at 58k sold between 50k and 45k instead because they feared they'd already missed the top it would go down further, and so on. Don't underestimate how feelings/emotions drive price action!

Secondly, most people who have been into crypto (for any meaningful amount of time) have since many years ago known about the "cycles" and seen projections for halvings etc... So people have anticipated those long-term price movements and have expected them and have bought and sold accordingly... which contributes to things NOT playing out that way. The knowledge of the future changes the future, because people act in ways that leads to a different outcome.

Longterm lows have become higher yes, but that nevertheless isn't proof that it will always be so. And the low in March 2020 was ~5000 and in December 2018 it was ~3500. That's not a huge difference.
