That will depend entirely on whether BTC bounces off of just under 40K. 40K is where the 3X long margin cancer is liquidated, people are scared and BTC can start positive price discovery without that weight. However, there's the chance that CBOE future hedged BTC dumping becomes profitable enough for a sort of critical mass that scares institutional investors into going bear. If that happens then we don't get a gay little bull run around CEX loan pools, parachain auctions, and whatever shit springs up on BNB and ADA. But if BTC hits 40K and rebounds or just says fuck it and bounces off 42K, then all the ponzinomics start on up and things look good. Assuming the stock market doesn't shit itself to death over a loss of confidence in bonds.

The problem with it is that there isn't enough liquidity in this sham of a market to let us cash out en masse at this time. It's one of those times where it's cheaper to wash trade it down and pay out the arbitragers (in crypto) than it is to let LINK go up and watch people like myself try to take 7 digit profits in fiat. There is max 3 million order book depth on a given pair on a large exchange. Far from enough for 1000 of us to pull out comfy money and let the rest ride. Way better to just eat however many hundreds of thousands or millions in tokens and coins that it costs to sit on it.

This also goes equally for letting LINK fall too far. If it say hits $20 and falls to #15 or something, people like me might just say fuck it and walk away with a few hundred thousand while letting the rest ride.

It's too many poor fags and has only a coincidental, not causal, relationship with the technicals. Now BNB and DOT and ADA and shit do not have the problem on the scale that LINK has because there was nothing remotely similar with those communities driving 1000s of poor fags to accumulate 1000s to 10000s to 100000s of tokens. We did some dumb shit here that requires something like the 2017 market to cash out against. Something where retail traders are pouring re-mortgages and loans into the market.

I wouldn't be buying LINK with money I was just entering the market with. I hold my LINK position because it has a low enough adjusted cost basis. But if I were entering the market now I'd be waiting for a few more days to get a read on things then probably flipping a combination of HT, NEO, and GAS against BNB. I'd trade it knowing that, worst case, I could hold it then sell trade it sideways at a loss and realize that for 2021 tax purposes. And yes, I realize these are shit coins but they are not talked about here and they are moving in the wake of BNB because Binance obviously has some shit going on with Huobi and OKEX and he owes NEO/GAS (Da Hongfei) for what he did for Binance back in 2017.

I'd be ready to take those profits to LINK eventually. But not right now.

As a serious investor, the OCR announcement has me extremely worried. According to the devs themselves, OCR introduces 10x the efficiency when it comes to gas fees, which means 10x less of the amount of needed Eth, and 10x the amount of data a single Link can process. If you multiply 10*10, you get x100 less need of the Chainlink token, which was already not necessary to begin with. This of course means 100x less value, which would, in it's current state, place the price of a single Link token at $0.25. I'm really worried, should I consider selling?
