This "hedge against inflation" line i keep hearing seriously needs to stop. Inflation is currently sub 2%. That's 0.04% per week. Or if you have $100,000, it's $40. If you can't make more than 0.04% of your wealth per week without gambling on overpriced bitcoin there's something seriously wrong with you. Literally any commodity or stock with good fundamentals is better than crypto to hedge against inflation

You measure inflation by comparing price of goods throughout the years, not looking official inflation stats.

Even according to official numbers the dollar decreased 20% in value from 2010 to now. Meanwhile bitcoin increased from a dollar to $50k

Not only prices are rising a lot more than you're saying, as they are not rising as much as they reasonably should. They are kept partially controlled by artificially low interest rates dictated by the FED.
