At least nfts can be unique collectables like pokemon cards. Or more importantly they can be tied to real world assets. On its face not really something inherently speculative. Like a title to a car. If someone creates something onchain with specific parameters then there is no copying it exactly. Sure you could run something in parallel, but it isn't the same and its provable. Thus its unique. As unique as a particular run of pokemon cards. The issuer could change things, but the changes would be visible and possibly illegal depending on the context. For example a government worker issuing titles and deeds to people they don't belong to and then there is an open evidence trail.
