>>29573095>If it drives down the costs by a factor of 10 won't it also divide LINK price by 10?No.OCR reduces gas costs by 10, it changes nothing when it comes to node fees.If anything, Chainlink will simply become more popular, thus driving the token price up.

Hello frens, Ludmilla here. Back again to ask you to buy my coin to help the collective.
>>29573095It reduces how much it costs to keep a node profitable, meaning operators don't have to sell as much Link resulting in a decrease in sell pressure. It makes the ETH network more efficient when it interacts with Link, it doesn't do anything to the Link token itself.
>>29573296>a decrease in sell pressureThat's what I'm afraid of. You usually sell valuable assets, if you want to make profits. Not selling as much LINK sends a message that it's quite worthless
>>29573296Dude the node operators are just going to handle more traffic to compensate for the savings. I’m being serious. What incentive is there for node operators to give a shit when Sergey is subsidising everything anyway?
>>29572719>Low transaction fees: Communication between the oracles and computation performed by the oracles happens off-chain and is therefore (almost) free. In contrast, communication with C requires Ethereumtransactions which carry hefty fees; for example, assuming a gas price of 30 GWei and an ETH price ofUSD 200 as of 2020, a transaction requiring 100k gas costs around 60 cents. In times of network congestion (e.g. caused by volatile markets), these fees could climb tenfold to USD 6 per transaction!lol

ChainLink as a network is already operating, like the anon said they haven’t gone into depth on how staking will work and the economics behind that in proper detail since they were figuring it out as of August according to Ari at the time. So given that the network is already used in such a way, and they’ve actually created / bought more things that weren’t even part of the original white paper like deco for example. They prob want to revisit and go into much more detail on those aspects. Why would they make a radical fundamental change while their network and usage is growing exponentially? Makes no sense

>>29587746Why do you think you need $50 million to be 'content'? Would 40 mill not do it? Not 20 mil? Not 10 mil? You couldn't possibly feel 'content' until you have a net worth that puts you in the .001% of humanity? >80k a year is shit That much money to not wake up with an alarm clock and sit in fucking traffic, and afford a mortgage and groceries solves 90% of the common persons worries. You're fucking delusional and I don't know why I'm wasting my time. And even if ONE yield pool goes down, cash out have to fiat and put it in a mutual fund or ETF. May God help you with your money.

Chainlink has integrated with Starkware to extend the Chainlink Network’s hyper-reliable oracle functions to high-performance Layer 2 solutions. In a short time, other oracle providers such as MakerDAO may be used for some markets>>29569892gawd wish i had that body
>>29585380>>29585681>>29585757>>295858831 mil is definitely enough to make it, provided you're willing to live a humble enough life. Personally if I had 1 million dollars right now after taxes I'd never work again.>Take $200,000 and buy a house (this is possible if you don't live in some liberal dystopian hellhole on the coasts)>Take $50,000 to spend on a few nice things for myself and provide some added cushion on top of my other savings.>Take the remaining $750,000 and put it into some ETFs. At ~8% divs a year that's like $70,000, and around $45,000 after taxes. Now that is certainly not fuck you money and you're not about to get wealthy off that, but it is enough to say fuck you to being a wagie. Also keep in mind even though 45k might not sound like a ton you'll be saving a lot with owning the house outright. Literally all you have to worry about is bills/insurance/taxes. For the average person that's probably like $700 a month max. Let's be generous and allow another $300 a month for groceries, and $500 a month on restaurants/going out. That's $1500 a month. Just don't go crazy buying unnecessary shit every month you'll not only be set for life, you'll continue to accumulate more savings you can reinvest in crypto, throw into the ETF, work your way up to a nicer house, etc, etc. tl;dr if you're not a materialistic psycho, 1 million is absolutely make it money.

>>29588414>Why do you think you need $50 million to be 'content'?i wanna be able to cover other bad investments and any health problems without sweating. one million is shit you need to understand you are the retard here. just because you have a bigg number in your bank account doesnt mean problems go away. They get worse>>29588629>>29588629>tl;dr if you're not a materialistic psychowait till you get there and you will see
>>29588629What if you want to work after a couple of years again? Also why would you waste your potential like that by doing nothing? I think it would be ideal to use the time to work on skills you actually enjoy and start creating cashflow from that skill.
>>29573919eh kinda like amazon huh
>>29575371good thing im in the top 1% of wallets LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>29589300Nothing about my post said you had to sit on your ass doing nothing. I was trying to illustrate that with just 1 million you become a free man unbound the constraints of wage slavery. You would be able to pursue anything you want. Delve into your hobbies, read more, better yourself, hit the gym 5 days a week, or even go back to work if you choose.
>>29570504saved for 2022
One problem:Why is it dumping?

>>29589812crypto markets are inefficient
>>29589300This. You do work you actually enjoy because you're not stuck in a job that's your only option where you can't afford to take risks.>>29589151Ok, so your standards for 'making it' are waaaay out of realistic bounds. That's fine for you. But no one needs you telling others that $1 million isn't enough to 'make it' because you have retarded expectations.
>>29570185kek
>>29589833More like 1.6 mil or so, although I understand your point. Just because your portfolio says 1 million that doesn't mean you've made it, I can agree with you on that, but also keep in mind the first line of my post specifically stated that's what I'd do with 1 million AFTER taxes. I stand by the idea that 1 million dollars cash is enough to make it.
>>29590172>but also keep in mind the first line of my post specifically stated that's what I'd do with 1 million AFTER taxessorry anon, i just glossed over your post.
>>29569710i only have 200 will i make it bros?
Dumping really hard now
So I saw OCR feeds on the Chainlink market before today. What’s the difference from that and today’s live announcement?
hey anons, it pains me to say this, but I think it’s time to finally start shilling our bags with plebbitors instead of FUD’ing them like we have for years. the reddit FUD campaign has given me some of the best laughs over the past few years, but this recent lack of price action has seriously fucked me up mentally. we’ve had 3+ fucking years to accumulate. believe some of y’all feel the same. anyways, maybe it’s time to actually updoot the ocr thread on /r/cryptocurrency and say something nice about money belly in the comments. am I gay?
>>29569710wow that was surely worth the wait and made up for missing the bullrun
So what happens next for link? More nodes, more data and hopefully more usage. Arbitrum next, then staking, hopefully before Q3. Did I miss something?
>>29591172LINK is shit. Token not needed
link should be a $300 rn
>>29591374Honestly your deep and conclusive argument has convinced me to sell my Chainlink cryptocurrency tokens that i have been holding onto for 3 years now. Thank you Anon.

>>29569892bros I need sauce on this woMAN pls
It was priced in, pump to $37
>>29576248You haven't been following. LINK's trend has been to be within 20% of the #11 market cap's cap. LINK just hit 23.6% above that which shows that the crypto soap opera is preparing a new plot. You'll explain it away using TA on whatever pair, but the fundamentals are way gayer than that.

They hired some big shot from IBM.
So does Sir Gay stop dumping on us so much now or what? It's gonna be great when staking is finally released and the price dumps 5%.
Just ordered a bigmac. Let's celebrate, brothers!
