1)Buy BTC on localbitcoins from a random person, pay with Paypal.
2)Never use any KYS exchanges.
3)Never cash out or cash out via localbitcoins and Paypal.
4)????
5)PROFIT!

Will I still have to pay taxes if I live in burgerland? Again, I'm not going to buy BTC on Paypal, I'd buy it on localbitcoins from a 3rd party and pay via Paypal "friends and family".

they're all undercover federal agents. have fun getting sent to pound-my-ass prison for tax evasion

Any proof to that? Also the fact of buying is not illegal itself.

>>29542916
That's much harder to do compared to just buying off localbitcoins.

Definitely should pay in cash and honestly you’ll only be able to use that bitcoin for small purchases or over the counter purchases. If it ends up being a good amount of your wealth tax man is going to ask where you got that from and expect their fair share otherwise your fucked. Long story short unless it’s chump change you should pay taxes on it or live in fear of the irs

There already exists technology to automatically obtain data on "unexplained wealth"
So unless you plan on using that BTC cashout for not buying any vehicles, any homes, any luxuries at all, you have a good shot of getting caught.
Just pay your damn tax or flee the country, somalia has 0% tax rate.

I understand that if I wanted to cash out and then started throwing money around, there would have been questions. What I don't understand is that if there is no proof that I bought crypto and I haven't used any exchanges that need KYS verification, can my crypto assets be tracked to me?

>>29543873
That's not how it works. You need to report even trading one coin for another on your tax forms and then you'd owe taxes for that.

>> No.29544228

Doesn't matter if they can be traced to you or not, they can deem the value of the purchases to be your income if you can't explain them.

I don't want to describe the plan here because I'm paranoid but if I decide to cash out, it wouldn't be a problem, and that wasn't my main concern in the OP-post. My main concern is just putting the money in because I know that I'd have to report all assets and trades, so I'm not sure if my idea with localbitcoins and Paypal has any holes.
